My husband and I stayed here while attending an event nearby. We were warmly greeted by the hosts, Melanie and Paul. The rooms were beautifully decorated, clean and the home updated tastefully, while still retaining the old word charm. Breakfast was top notch, fresh fruit and yogurt, warm scones and a delicious omelet top with a tarragon cream sauce (I...

We spent two delightful days and nights at the Snow Squall Inn in Wiscasset, Maine. The inn keepers were charming, entertaining and a wealth of local knowledge. The Inn itself is a beautifully restored historic home. The grounds were spectacular and each morning's breakfast brought us a myriad of hot, fresh and delicious goodies. Each evening upon our return there...

It can be summed up pretty simply: The house is charming, the room was clean, the beds were very comfortable, breakfast was absolutely delicious, and Paul and Melanie were terrific and welcoming hosts. We stayed in the Red Jacket Suite, which was perfect for our family of four. Although the house was full, it was quiet and peaceful. Just a...

Guest rooms, lounges (2) and breakfast room were spotless. Park-like setting. Hosts greeted us upon arrival, were friendly, helpful, knowledgeable about the area, where to go and how to get there. Breakfast was immense and scrumptious. We enjoyed talking with the hosts at breakfast and before our departure.

The breakfast fare was such that that day only needed two meals, as lunch would have been impossible to eat . If you want to...

As soon as my foot touched the gravel driveway, we were greeted with open arms by Paul. I sell & manage a 400-room full-service downtown Hilton property and I can happily share w/ you that our Snow Squall experience represented the definition of "the light & warmth of hospitality." Truly a breath of fresh air. Well done Paul & Melanie....
