For a camping site in Maine, we loved the fact that we did not have to use our car to get to the beach, that our tents were covered by trees, that we had big lots so we did not feel like we were on top of each other and the recommendations that the owners gave to us were spot...

We came here as novice tent campers. It was simple, clean and beautiful. The tent sites are well spaced apart. We had a spot very close to a water station. Pros: very affordable. Walking distance to short sands. Quiet neighborhood. Fellow campers are very friendly. Rustic setting. Beautiful little pond. Clean bathrooms with free hot showers. Friendly staff. Cons: no...

Very nice campground. It has both tent and RV spots with a nice range of in-the-open and more secluded spots. Owners are very friendly and accommodating. Every site has its own fire pit. The bathrooms and showers are located by the gate so it can be a hike to get to them. There are porta-potties located in the back. I...

We have been here twice. Once last year and we just returned from there. We had a GREAT time. The owners are very nice. There is a lot to do in the area. Diane (the owner) even got out a map and told us about places to go that we didn't know about. No, there is no pool or playground,...

I am in my mid fifties and have done just about every means of camping and New England locations available. First time I went I was surprised about "cash only" but it's not big deal. There's an ATM within 200' of the place. Sites are of many different styles. Tent camping is just what you would expect - few frills....

York Beach Camper Park is a FABULOUS clean, quiet, wooded camp ground. The owner, Diane, is super friendly and a great resource for the "best places". Just a short way from down town York Beach. We will go back again!

We arrived to Maine for business, though I brought my family to meet my colleagues. One morning I decided to take my 3 year old daughter to the beach. Approaching the beach, it looks like a private area. Very cleaned, no chairs or sun beds. This place requires you to bring everything with you. Watch out from parking tickets.

The campsite is close to the beach, The sites are crammed together. If you have slide outs you need to be careful. Wifi only works on certain devices. When we asked about this no one followed up. As we were using this for trip planning purposes this fell very short of what wifi expectations would be if advertised WiFi. It's...

We stayed here for two nights in our 28' travel trailer, had everything we needed plus very close to beautiful downtown and beach. The roads at the camp are dirt and gravel. Our site had freshwood chips as the base surrounding the picnic table. Lots of trees for shade as well, never used the awning. This is a great little...
