My husband and I have just returned from a two night weekend stay at Chapman Cottage. This B&B is a true winner in all categories. The main things that impressed us both the most were the charm and layout of this home, along with the thoughtful attention to "your" comfort level. We stayed in the Lawrence room. Upon arrival to... Chapman Cottage is a beautiful B & B with over-the-top quality meals. Paul greeted us with a hearty welcome (Donna was away visiting family on the night we visited; we'll meet her next time!) and escorted us into a SPACIOUS, comfortable room complete with chocolate truffles and a bowl full of goodies. The beach and a beautiful park are a... More

This place was a dissapiontment. They add on extra money in July and Aug for dinner there which is fine, however, they add the price onto your room fee. They add up your total bill at full price per dinner avg $25.00 and any drinks are charged an automatic 18% seperate from your room bill charge. The room was $225.00... More

Our annual trip to Chapman Cottage last September for my Birthday and a little golf at the Ledges was, as usual, just fabulous. Paul and Donna couldn't have been more kind and insured that all of our needs were met. Our lovely little room on the third floor was spotless and oh so comfy. The sheets are so soft and... More

Do not book your wedding here. I repeat, do not book your wedding here. I booked a two-night stay for the night before my wedding. The owners were well aware that my bridesmaids and I would be getting ready at the house the morning of my wedding. On my big day, it was pouring out, so we could not go... More

My boyfriend and I found Chapman Cottage by accident when surfing the web for a great B&B in Maine. What a wonderful surprise as we drove up and saw the beautiful yellow home up on the hill. It was such fun to enter our room and enjoy a glass of sherry and homemade truffle. We stayed in one of the... More

My husband and I just returned from a wonderful 2-night stay at Chapman Cottage. It's a beautifully-restored inn, common areas are inviting and nicely decorated. Owners Donna and Paul were very pleasant, helpful and available if needed. Our room on the third floor was spacious, comfortable (queen bed, nice recliner and an oversized loveseat) and impeccably clean. Many of the... More

I have never been treated so rudely in my life. Upon entering the B&B, we felt extremely uncomfortable, like we were walking on glass. Perhaps this is because my fiance and I are quite young compared to the traditional clientele that stay here. All we wanted was a romantic weekend together, but instead, we were constantly berated and warned not... More

What a wonderful place to stay, warm and inviting hosts. If you are looking for a b n b this is the one, added touches are the fresh fruit and homemade chocolates plus very high count sheets. We stayed in Mary's room the third floor with our own private porch, it rained the day we were there but a great... More
