Beautiful place, great view and the Best Innkeeper! Renee and Sharon are so nice, fun, and welcoming. We've been coming here for years. Chesapeake City is such a cute town with just the right amount of activity.

We visit the Chesapeake often to sail. The Ship Watch Inn is our favorite place. We love the atmosphere, the food and the location. Rocking on the back porch next to the canal after supper is a most relaxing experience... and the home-made desserts are delicious and always there for a late night snack.

My husband and I wanted a quiet getaway to celebrate my birthday. We were BEYOND pleased and thrilled with our stay. The room was beautiful and the view was amazing! We enjoyed some time in the hot tub watching the ships go down the canal, looking at the stars, wandering around town, and quiet naps. We ate at 2 local...

Chesapeake City is a nice getaway for us and always stay at The Ship Watch. Staff is very accommodating and goes out of their way to assure our stay is the best. We love the view of the Canal especially sitting on the deck in the warmer weather but hanging out in the room is very comfortable also.

This is our second visit to the Ship Watch Inn. Again we couldn't be happier with our choice. The host was gracious and prepared wonderful baked treats to tempt us and served us an excellent breakfast of eggs Benedict with crabmeat. We like the Queen Ann room with access to a shared terrace although this time (January) we only would...

We like to stay in the Chesapeake room. It is on the second floor at the end of the building. It has lots of windows, a refrigerator and a covering over the porch to keep off the sun and rain. I think the room is more private. The innkeeper is wonderful. We were lucky this weekend. There were more than...

This is our second visit to ship watch, first time was about 7 years ago and it was fabulous, which is why we returned for a second trip. From what we gathered it is now under new ownership. Our room was overall nice (the Cecil suite) however there was general unfinished repairs that needed to be complete. They installed a...

My mother-in-law and I had an absolutely perfect weekend at the Shipwatch Inn. Such a fantastic view from our deck. Appreciated the lovely Christmas decor and the complimentary coffee, tea and dessert and the relaxing, cozy dining room to sit and chat, have a treat and enjoy the view. The hosts were so kind and helpful and we enjoyed talking...

Some people shop at malls on Black Friday, we shop in small towns on Black Friday... The ShipWatch Inn was a nice waterfront Bed and Breakfast in a charming little town on the C&D Canal. We stay here several times a year and have never offered a review, so I guess it was time. We stay in different rooms each...
