Cheryl and David welcomed us for our 20th anniversary with such personal attention. We loved the room with its breezy windows, comfortable bed, sitting area, and mini-fridge. The room was supplied with many extra special touches including a basket of snacks! When we first arrived, David met us out at our car and welcomed us inside with cookies that Cheryl...

Simply Bed and Bread is simply a fabulous place to stay in Chestertown! My husband and I were there for only one night and left feeling we were saying goodbye to good friends. Cheryl and Dave welcomed us so graciously. Our room was so clean and comfortable with every amenity you can think of... And breakfast! Cheryl was up bright...

My wife and I spent two nights here to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. David and Cheryl were warm, welcoming, and engaging; we really had a good time talking with them during breakfast. And the breakfasts were imaginative and delicious. Cheryl is an amazing cook!! She even asked us ahead of time what our favorite cookies...

We spent a night at Simply Bed & Bread. It was a super experience! The room we had was beautiful, comfortable, and immaculate, Cheryl fixed an incredible breakfast using some local ingredients and even gave us some goodies to take with us. Almost as good as the room and food were David & Cheryl's helpfulness and welcoming spirit. We really...

Cheryl and David provide a home away from home for the weary traveler. Their home is warm and inviting and you find yourself lingering for the wonderful conversation or the intoxicating smells coming from the kitchen. Cheryl even made me a birthday cake! Talk about a nice touch! If you want a true home away from home, stay at Simply...

I travel the world for business, and despite some very nice hotels, nothing beats the sense of 'coming home', which is exactly what Cheryl has meticulously crafted in her and David's home. While I was a first time guest here, it felt like I was coming home after a long work trip. The house is incredibly charming and invitingly cozy,...

When I walked in and saw my room I was VERY pleased. It was so clean and beautifully appointed that I immediately relaxed ( after my eight hour drive). I had a wonderful hot shower with my new favorite orange and ginger soap that the hosts provided and then went on to sleep like a baby! Breakfast the following morning...

I brought my daughter Molly to Chestertown to celebrate her eleventh birthday. Before we arrived, Cheryl enthusiastically asked about Molly's interests and tastes. When we entered the house, we were greeted with a beautiful tea party with dolls. Cheryl had also laid out delightful books and crafts for Molly, and she gave us a fun ukulele lesson. The next day,...

We have stayed at Simply Bed and Bread twice, and our second visit was a delightful renewal of acquaintances. The innkeepers provide the atmosphere we seek in a B&B (we try to stay only at B&B's when traveling, and also run our own), and the breakfasts are a marvel (we compare them favorably to our own). Our visits to Chestertown...
