My daughter and I spent one night while apartment shopping. David made our stay so comfortable. The furnishings are beautiful! Every detail of the house was so well thought out, from the bedding, to the coffee, the robes, the toiletries, the breakfast, all just perfect. Also, David's friendliness and knowledge of the area was so valuable to us, as my...

David the innkeeper is extremely warm and eager to make your stay memorable. There is a small pond on the property that has more turtles than I have ever seen at one time. David himself serves breakfast and it was more of an event rather than a meal. David is not at a loss of words and be sure to...

This wonderful B&B combines modern convenience and historic beauty - plus a fabulous breakfast!. More than that though, the best part of The Wayside Inn are the owners - David and Susan - they exude care and concern for your comfort and enjoyment. By far the best B&B that I have ever enjoyed!

My wife and I went here for a one night get-away. The owner greeted us with a smile, was very personable, and had a fantastic breakfast for us in the morning. Would wholeheartedly recommend this to anyone.

My wife and I have a yearly "get-away-trip" between Christmas and the New Year. This time it was at the Wayside Inn in Ellicott City, MD. Our Innkeepers, Susan and David were tremendously gracious and offered important information about local eateries and historical facts about the area. Susan greeted us upon our arrival and was very efficient showing us around...

We spent 2 nights at this beautiful and historic B&B. It is one of the cleanest places we have ever stayed. We were in the Pierpont Suite on the 2nd floor, and the bed was very comfortable. The bedroom, sitting room and bathroom are all large. The bathroom has a huge walk-in shower. Breakfast was delicious. All of the downstairs...

They know a lot about the area and can make great recommendations on things to do and where to eat. Breakfasts were delicious. Accommodations were fantastic - bed was super comfortable and sheets were so soft. Really can't say enough good...

We spent the night of our wedding in their quaint lovely Terrace Room. There is a separate private entrance which was perfect for our late arrival. We will definitely be back to re-create special occasions & would highly recommend giving them a try! Make sure that you stay when the owners can make you brunch. I'm still trying to replicate...

Visiting 2 sets of friends and found this gem very convenient to both of them. Very old home with stately grounds. Our room was very spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable. The sheets were luxurious. Breakfast in the morning was served by the host and was delicious. Fun to be in such a well preserved home from Revolutionary times!
