We stayed one night in the motel section. Typical motel. Rooms were neat and clean. Everything worked as it should. Price was right. We suggest you get dessert to go at the Inn and then warm your pie in the microwave. it was great. We would certainly stay here again.

My family had two rooms here at the Motel in the back lot. We stayed here, for a night while exploring Deep Creek Lake (about 30 min away). We had our lunch in the restaurant. The food was very good. Basic Country Cooking, but tasty. Our rooms were cute, spacious, and clean. The beds were comfortable, and the bathroom clean.... More

It was nice motel style, park right at your door. Big room, Bed was good No hair dryer... might be able to use one from the front desk if it was not already in use. Small TV, clear pictures but small Very basic Did not eat at their property so no comment there.

When ever I visit this wonderful town of Grantsville, Maryland, I ALWAYS make it a point to stay here. It's a wonderful Inn with absolutely great service, from reception, to housekeeping, to check out. My experience through my travels has taught me to always stay where you know it's safe, homey, and comfortable. The folks here fit all the criteria... More

I was torn between charm vs. comfort, but finally I chose to stay in the motel behind the historic Inn (but go to the historic building to eat), so that's what I'm reviewing. Room was large, but basic - plain and simple - a little Spartan, reminded me a bit of a working convent I stayed in in Rome. Thin... More

Was looking for a small locally owned place to stay and came across the Casselman. Check-in was easy and the room while plain and simple, was comfortable and the internet speed was good. Their restaurant has a great breakfast at a decent price.

The Casselman Inn, and restaurant) is located on old US 40, parallel to Interstate-68, originally the National Road or Cumberland Road. It is furnished nicely, and is relatively inexpensive. The rooms have modern conveniences. We had a problem with the water in the bathroom, but were quickly moved to another room on the 2nd floor. It was an originally a... More

Stopped here on the way back East. Clean room, soft beds, internet and quiet. Best of all the price is right. It is located in a quiet town just off of the interstate highway next to a nice residential area. Interior hallways.
