Kawan was a great help to me today (2/13/20). I needed a place stay and she went so far out of her way to find a room for me. She had provided other local options to stay at first, but about 30 minutes later she showed up with a smile on her face and told me she had found an extra room for me. The Hilton was full but she managed to work it out for a pcle for me to stay tonight.

Hats off to here..I wish we had more "customer service-minded" people like Kawan!

This was a relaxing place to stay the night before we headed out to the airport in the morning. The shuttle runs frequently to the airport which we utilized without any issues. The bar was open in the evening and we had some very good food. We really enjoyed the cream of crab soup and the hummus plate. There were also good speciality drinks. We didn't go in but the indoor pool looked clean and refreshing. The employees were friendly and helpful. The only downside was the room service starting at noon. We really would have liked to eat breakfast in our room. If you want breakfast, you have to go to the Starbucks in the lobby. We just didn't feel like doing that and decided it was time to go to the airport. Overall, it was a good experience. You can't go wrong with a Marriott.

I stayed recently at the BWI Marriott on a business trip. Was happy to note that they have a free shuttle bus from the airport to the hotel. The hotel has two restaurants and a bar that serve nice crabcakes. The only negative comment that I would make is that on arrival when I gave my credit card for incidental charges Marriott unexpectedly billed my ATM card $50 per night upfront (for a total of $150).

About zero toilet paper in a newly prepared room, stains that looked liked blood or poop on the door frame, a badly cracked porcelain sink filthy Kleenex holder, one towel in a nook...I asked management to comment and was told they will talk to housekeeping and their apologies. I am CEO and Bonvoy gold level and rent another 200 nights for management at my Company. We will certainly avoid the Marriott brand in the future.

Had a reservation for Saturday evening, 11/13. Arrive at the hotel at 10 PM to find there was absolutely no parking available for hotel guests. There was a wedding which the hotel was obviously totally unprepared for. You would think they would have had a reserved section for hotel guests and possibly set up some offsite parking for the wedding guests with shuttle service. Was told at check-in there was nothing they could do by the desk manager who really didn't have a positive attitude. Finally after pushing back a security officer rode with me around the parking lot and he had me park on the grass island in front of the flag pole assuring me I wouldn't towed which I wasn't. The security officer was helpful. So make sure you call ahead and be guaranteed they will have parking. No offer of any reduction of the room rate given there was no parking.

Stayed here the night before flying out for a vacation in room 428 had a later check in after grabbing dinner so pretty much checked in and turned on the tv for a little and went to bed upon waking up and turning all the lights on to help wake up a bit for our early arrival to BWI I was appalled at the condition of the room and disgusted by the tv remote that was clearly marked sanitized!! As you can see by the pictures it was caked with who knows what and the the condition of the bathroom was like a motel 8! Upon checking out I handed the disgusting remote along with the cover I took it out of the night before and handed it to the Mgr George Ghabour and asked him what he thought about the condition of this remote as it was to have been sanitized and cleaned? He seemed as disgusted as I was asked me to email him with the pics I showed him I did it in front of him and he confirmed receiptā€¦.well I never heard back from George or anyone else at from the hotel. Pitiful that the Marriott has come to this it use to be a good brand and name and with there being so many other hotel options it does make you question their dedication to their long time customers I guess the Hilton and Hyatt will be getting more stays from me! I wonā€™t even get into the deplorable condition of the bathroom!! See the pics

I frequently chose this airport due to the easy to navigate terminal, and ease of in and out. Located on Amtrak line or easy drive from DC metro area or Philadelphia metro area. Based in Delaware, I find airfares or nonstop flights to be the decider between which airport to chose. Often BWI wins over PHL, DCA or IAD. Worth doing a comparison.

It was the worst hotel experience we have ever had. The room was 317, away from the parking lot, but overlooking the hotel's venting system. All night long, it was as if a snare drum beat loudly, rapidly and relentlessly outside our window. We arrived late at night, so could not see the vents until dawn, and were too tired to ask for another room, thinking the noise would surely stop. It did not. I could not sleep a wink. In the morning, I asked the manager for a refund but have not heard a response. The hotel should absolutely not book rooms anywhere near 317 and should install sound mufflers on the equipment.

We stayed at this hotel and used the park and fly shuttle service. No problem getting to the airport, but don't expect to be picked up. We had a late flight and waited over an hour for the shuttle that never came. Every other hotel in the area has shuttles come through except BWI Marriott. I called the hotel 5 times and was told the shuttle would be there in 10 minutes every time. The last time I called we were told to move from arrivals to departures so the shuttle could pick us up. We ended up taking and Uber back to the hotel because the shuttle was stopping service at 2:00am. I will use the SpringHill Suites next time as their driver stopped every pass to ensure he wasnā€™t missing anyone.

The next morning, I called the hotel to talk to a manager and I was told ā€œwe are looking into itā€. I have never experienced this from a Marriott and will never stay at this property again. Anyone thinking of staying here for the shuttle should find another property.

Marriott was not ready for full service. During our entire stay, our room was not cleaned. We inquired and were told a limited staff necessitated that Marriott suspend its cleaning unless specifically requested.
This wasnā€™t our experience. We asked. This hotel did not comply.
