Picture perfect cabins, very clean, new linens and towels, great shower water pressure. Gas fire place and cozy living/dining area. Very close to Wisp and restaurants. Only take note - Beds are very squishy, which we enjoyed but others may not. My kids and I had a wonderful stay and will be back.
We had a much needed escape for a couple of nights during Covid and this was perfect! We have been very locked down and avoiding restaurants so the kitchen area was perfect! We brought breakfasts foods, picked up take out for dinner and ate in the cabin. I studied the map on their website in great detail before picking a cabin and I am glad I did. We stayed in cabin 53 and loved it!!! The cabins are VERY close together, but this one has its back toward the others and faces the lake, making it feel a but more private, even though its not, from the others. Cabin was very comfortable with a nice table, sofa, gas fireplace etc. Beds were very comfy, we slept well!! Only issue we had was getting hot water in bathroom and kitchen sink......BUT hot water in shower was not a problem so I used hot water from that faucet to wash my face. We will definitely return but only in certain cabins.…
After a last minute decision to drive to Deep Creek for a weekend with 2 dogs, we could only find accommodations at the Lodges. With 3 adults and 2 dogs, we were very comfortable. The cabin was clean and well appointed. The location is convenient to boat rentals and shopping.
Nice place and clean. However our neighbors have been partying outside all weekend long. Blasting music, cursing, yelling until about 3am. I feel like I am at a frat party. Not an ideal environment for families with kids. Also, tv is way too small for room.
The brand new Grandview Cabins is where we stayed on the property. We did this to have a little more privacy. The cabin was beautiful, the view was nice, and overall the staff was friendly. However, there were many little things that kept adding up that made our stay less than desirable... especially when we paid $450 per night. There were no curtains on the inside front windows (said they were taking a vote if they were needed, then also said the rods had just come in). The hot tub was not cleaned and we couldn’t use it despite being told it was available. A man also walked in at 10 am (checkout was 11) without knocking so he could hang a picture. New linens were also left on the front seats at 10 am for the next set of guests. If the cabin wasn’t ready to be rented out, then they shouldn’t have allowed guests to stay there. There were also little worms that kept getting in the door and were all over our floor..we were told the pest control was coming that day so hopefully those have been taken care of. 2/3 of our remotes did not work so for the first night, my tv was a nightlight. Candy was also found under my bed. All was reported to the front and when we were checking out, I kindly mentioned these little things were adding up and the lady smiled and said thank you for your feedback. That was all. I was very disappointed that they didn’t offer to take anything off our bill. These cabins have the potential to be wonderful, but I am not sure I’d be willing to stay here again.…
