Large person would not be able to shower 10-Handle fell off of the dresser 11- 2 remotes- one for channel and one for volume 12- Breakfast old buns, coffee and juice Bottom line...Dont waste your money. Only plus was convenience to dining…
This has to be of the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. st night in the room, tried to turn on the bathtub jets and it through a breaker and lost all the bathroom lights, tried to hit the reset on the switch and it didn't work. Than turned the heater on and the heat didn't work. Had to switch rooms and there was no more king size beds so I had to take a room with 2 queen beds. And the room was at the other end of the hotel with no carts available. Parking lot was in terrible condition. We stayed there about 8 years ago when it was a Quality Inn and it was nice. The new owners have let it run down so bad, paint is peeling, rust everywhere. sink was also clogged and took forever to drain. Obviously the new owners don't care about providing a clean place for people to stay. Actually if a building inspector came into the place it would more than likely be shutdown. Its that BAD!!!!!…
Oh god, where to start... I was in the area for work and chose this hotel based on affordability - turns out, you couldn't pay me to stay there again. I would give zero stars if I could. I kid you not, I may have been the only person at this hotel, INCLUDING STAFF. I'm not exaggerating when I say that there was nobody working there from the time I arrived to the time I left. To check in, you had to call a phone number where the person on the other end of the phone gave you directions to a lock box outside where you pick up your room key. I picked mine up and when I got to my room, the keys didn't work because the door was broken. I called the number back and the person asked me to keep trying. When I told him that it didn't work, he sent me back out to the lock boxes and gave me the code to get the MASTER KEY, that can open any of the rooms... This was the second warning sign, as I wasn't exactly comfortable staying at a hotel where there was no staff and where the person on the phone was liberally giving away access to the master key. When the master key predictably didn't work on the broken door, I called him back and let him know. He then assigned me to a different room, where I would have to find a different lock box to access the keys. Luckily this time it worked... though immediately the vibes were off. When I walked to my room, there were several buckets on the ground in the hallways to catch dripping from the leaky ceilings. I got into my room, and while it was spacious, there was a horrible odor coming from the bathroom. I decided to avoid that area and get into bed and watch some TV. The cable for the TV was shut off. Then I figured I would entertain myself with my phone, until I realized that the wifi was horrible. I finally just decided to call it a night, but there were creepy noises coming from throughout the building - almost like a rattling sound, which I swear at one point included my doorknob. The bed sheets were wrinkly as if they hadn't been washed or changed, which included some hairs on the pillow cases. I removed them and finally got to sleep, until I woke up in the middle of the night, itchier than I've ever been before from head to toe (you can draw your own conclusions from there). I switched beds, managed to get about two hours of sleep and then left in the morning as soon as I could. As I left in the morning, there was still zero staff to be found anywhere in the lobby. The free breakfast that was promised was non-existent. It doesn't matter, I was just happy to get out of there once and for all. Unless you like bedding that seemingly hasn't been cleaned, leaks, weird noises, no direct human interaction, and random people potentially having access to your hotel rooms, I would absolutely never even get within 1000 feet of this place.…
Absolutely awful! As soon as we walked in, we noticed a bunch of buckets in the lobby collecting water dripping from the ceiling. We stayed in the king suite to enjoy our time in Deep Creek, and it was everything but relaxing. There was water damage on the ceiling, the towel rack was falling off the wall, the curtains looked like they were going to fall down, the AC did not work, the faucets were loose, the door did not lock completely, and there were holes in the wall. It should have been deeply cleaned due to COVID, but was dirty. We notified the front desk about these issues and even took pictures for proof. They offered us a different room, a room that had no refrigerator, microwave, nor jacuzzi, all of which we already paid for and wanted. They would not give us a refund or compensation for all of the troubles! We ended up checking out a day early and still would not give us a refund. Stay away!!!…
THIS HOTEL IS A DANGER!! STAY AWAY FROM IT! It is a threat for COVID and just a disgrace to the hotel industry. Don't trust the pictures, the reality is different. Despite the pandemic, everything is extremely dirty: the lobby (covered with tens of buckets because of leaks from roof), the stairs, hallways, bedrooms, bathrooms and the sheets!! When we entered the room, the lighting was so dim, we had to use our cell phone's flashlight to see. The room was smelly and looked dirty so we decided to check the sheets. When we opened the bed, it was clear it had been used before us and had not been changed: the sheets were wrinkled, there were hair and worst of all, there was a DIRTY SOCK IN IT (see pix)!! During Covid time, well managed hotels are thoroughly cleaned, disinfected, including the door knobs. But here, they don't even care. When we complained, the man at the front desk was very rude and told us to leave the hotel or he'd call the police! I asked Hotel.com customer service to cancel our 4 nights reservation and have my money back. But he charged us the 1st night even though we stayed in the room for 10 min only and were kicked out under a snow storm at 11pm (the icy road was very dangerous). Many other customers also had to leave for the same reasons. This hotel doesn't deserve to stay open. Covid 19 killed over 530 000 persons in the USA and this guy couldn't care less. His dirty and crumbling hotel is a danger to people and a real scam. JUST DON'T GO THERE.…
