As of January 2018, Mallard Apartments is operating under new management. Mallard Apartments is a self-catering accommodation in Ocean City, Maryland. Free Wi-Fi access is available. The property is just a short block from Ocean City Boardwalk. A private outdoor shower, TV and sitting area are included in each accommodation. There is also a full kitchen equipped with a microwave and a refrigerator. All the apartments have a private entrance and equipped with satellite channels and flat screen TV. Don't make the same mistake I made. I booked through Booking.com based on the pictures I saw, looked decent and clean. The property is a dump, infested, dirt, with broken furniture and hardly any space to hang out. We arrived on a Friday night for a long weekend vacation, and within an hour we booked a nearby hotel because we could not stand the thought of staying there another night. It was horrible. When we went back to the property management to complain, we were told that we were confused and booked a different apartment than listed on Booking.com. When we shoed them the pictures of what we saw on Booking.com, they said it was the website's fault that the right pictures were not showing. Honestly, the units are all within the same house, so hard to believe that one unit looks great and the other is completely dilapidated. Save yourself money and headache and book another property. We stayed at the Mallard Apartments for the weekend of the airshow and loved it! The rooms were great! Everything was spotless when we arrived. We the 2 bedroom 2 floor apartment. The upstairs living area was spacious. It fit 8 of us comfortably. We enjoyed the patio area outside. It was perfect for grilling and watching the airshow. The management was accommodating, helping us with everything from pots and pans to bed covers! They were friendly and helpful our entire stay! I'm definitely booking the Mallard Apartments for our next stay in Ocean City! I'd recommend it to anybody in a group looking for a spacious place to stay that's right by the beach and boardwalk.
