we stayed the first time at Americana and must say, it was a decent stay. The room was much larger then I thought it would be and for being bike week, it as rather quiet. It was about 1 1/4 mile to the pier and there are several places nearby to eat. The only real downside was parking but that is an issue with most of the boardwalk hotels. However, the extra parking was about a block away and under cover if the weather is bad. I would stay here again.
Excellent stay, quiet clean comfy rooms overlooking the boardwalk at a price that's easy on the wallet. Close to shopping and restaurants. Pleasant helpful staff. Vegan bathwash and shampoo..... The only drawback to the weekend was the smallish parking lot but since it was December it wasn't an issue.
it's old but clean. If you look carefully, you will see wear and tear but acceptable. the only real problem is the loudness of the Air conditioning, it keeps wakening up my wife all night. will probably go there again while they do have housekeeping, we intentionally did not use it at all we even brought our own towel's
We loved everything about this hotel. The room was clean and spacious. The beds were so comfortable. I have not had such a good night sleep like we did here. The pool may be a little small for some but if you are staying here to swim in a pool instead of the oceans a few steps away then your doing it wrong. Also the pool was clean and felt great. My son and I took a dip before we went out for dinner. The location is perfect, right on the boardwalk. The staff is very friendly and helpful. If I was to change one thing it would be screened doors on the balcony because I would have slept all night with the sound of the ocean right outside.
The hotel was nice. The room was nice as well. It is right on the boardwalk but the entrance was on the backside of the hotel which was not a big deal. My only negative comment was the air in the room blew very hard. We had to sleep on the bed away from the vent to be comfortable. Make sure you ask for either a beach or street facing balcony. Ours faced a wall. I would recommend this hotel.
First time staying here and will go back again and again. For a boardwalk hotel this place was great. From the front desk to the room it was a wonderful experience. No matter what time of the day the front desk and staff were always very friendly and helpful. They spoke to everyone and made sure you were doing well and always ask if you needed anything. The room was clean, roomy and the side balcony was nice.
First off, the views are worth it. Even though we had a side view room, you could still see the ocean and we were right on the boardwalk at 10th street. So, close to shops and food. However, the ONLY downside was the beds. They were super uncomfortable but, we really didn't spend a lot of time in the room. The indoor pool is small, 4 ft max, but, nice if you have little kids. My Mom and Dad and me went for the night. So, it was alright for $97.00.
Great value for the location, this is our go to spot on the Ocean City boardwalk. The rooms are always clean and well kept. The staff is really excellent, especially the manager, Andre. Highly recommend.
Such an amazing place to stay during the New Year . We were greeted by a wonderful staff, an gorgeous decorated lobby, and a clean and large room. So many things for the kids to do within the hotel as well as nearby. Thank you for an amazing stay!
My stay was amazing, the view is everything the room is big enough for my family, it has a kitchenette, everything is so clean. The front desk personnel is so diligent and friendly, 100% recommended!!
