Having booked our stay at the Inn several monthes ahead of time, my boyfriend and I could not wait to get there, and all I could say was it was definitely worth the wait. The innkeepers Jim and Joann were so welcoming andthe breakfast was amazing (especially the lemon grass pancakes with Joann's homemade blackberry syrup) and full of fun... More

My girlfriend and I spent a wonderfully restful few days at the Inn. The innkeepers Jim and Joann could not have been better. They are warm, charming, smart, and so much fun to talk to. They genuinely enjoy taking care of their guests. The Inn is beautiful. The rooms, the grounds, the pool, everything is just top notch. It's like... More

In our short stay, we were able to swim, kayak and bike, right from the front door. The bed was very comfortable, the house beautifully laid out, with several large common rooms. There was tea, wine and fruit, on the house, and a library's worth of books to read. The experience was perfect for my husband's 60th birthday getaway. Jim... More

I am here with my dog to write and spend some time away from the city. This is a perfect inn and location. It is very quiet and peaceful. I spend most of the day writing while my dog sit on the deck. We are staying in one of the cottages. It is very clean and comfortable. We pick up... More

We recently spent 2 nights at the Inn as part of a bike trip. The Inn itself is warm and instantly makes you feel comfortable. The rooms were impressive and very well appointed. Jim and Joanne were welcoming hosts and helped to us plan our local biking itineraries. The pool was an extra bonus after working up a sweat biking.... More

Another fantastic weekend in Rock Hall. This was our third trip to the Inn at Huntingfield Creek, and it just keeps getting better. Joann greeted us when we arrived, and showed us around the library and outdoors. Then we walked over to our cottage, the Zen Cottage, and she showed us a few upgrades since our last visit. Customized robes,... More

I have to begin by telling you that all the adjectives I will use to describe our experience here still won't do it justice. The inn's motto is "always the element of surprise" and it's very fitting. We had the pleasure to enjoy both an inn room and a cottage during our stay. From the moment we walked in to... More

After reading the reviews online and in Frommers, I thought this place would be something special - especially for the price - and accepted pets. Very disappointing. The accommodations were extremely plain (outdated and mismatched). Definitely not an upscale cabin with a lot of privacy, but a duplex unit connected to another. The corner shower was ridiculously small - and... More

Management response:

We take all our reviews seriously and address correctable issues promptly. Admittedly, this review has us scratching our heads. This single guest booked a pet-friendly cottage because she was traveling with her dog. She was informed when booking that no breakfast was scheduled for that morning because of visiting grandchildren. We gave her a carte blanche voucher to use at... More

We had found the Inn by way of Trip Advisor. It was everything the reviews said. Staying during the week included a complimentary 1 1/2 hr. sunset sail on the Chester River. Rooms were large, relaxing and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and allowed us an opportunity to meet the other guests. The hosts visited with everyone at that time which... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here to attend a wedding on a plantation nearby. As soon as we walked in we were greeting with such positive energy and generosity. The owners, Jim and Joanne, were so wonderful. Every little detail from the delicious chocolate-dipped fortune cookies, bottles of water and bathrobes all made the experience amazing. They have three amazing... More
