Wish I had paid more attention to negative reviews. The awful odor in the main house and nonexistent air conditioning in 96+ degree heat made our overnight stay extremely uncomfortable. Blinds were missing in one of the windows so the morning sun woke us earlier than we wanted and there were dead bugs on the floor. The rooms facing the...

Giving this place One Star is stretching it. First impression was the musty odor downstairs. Upstairs, dirty, dusty, mold on the wall and in the bathroom. Heat on like a sauna, and the temperature outside was 75 degrees. Tried to put us in a smaller room than booked. Nice side porch with furniture that smelled like wet cat. No wastebasket...

The owners of this B & B and the adjacent kayak business are very nice and accomodating. We enjoyed both of our visits there in July. The decks off the rooms that we stayed in were great to sit out at night, listen to their nice waterfall trickling into their Koi pond. The rooms are comfortable and we especially liked...

DO NOT book with this Inn! Please do not ignore the negative reviews. We experienced what was (almost) a horrible 4th of July. We arrived at Bay Breeze Inn July 4th with a 2 year old and a 3 year old in tow. We were told on arrival that The Haven room in which we booked for 2 nights had...

I reserved the Carriage House more than a month in advance, but we arrived to find other people staying there - the owner had double booked it, but not notified me. After I found him at his nearby residence (fortunately, with help from a gues who I happened upon), Jim gave us the choice of another, smaller room there at...

With friendly helpful hosts who run the Kayak Adventures store front right next door, this B+B is relaxed and informal, and runs beautifully on "island time." Makes you feel like you have stepped into a Jimmy Buffet song. Charming, old fashioned decor with nice appointments, yet simple, rather than elegant, tone. Be sure to talk to Jim about kayaking and...

We had a wonderful experience at the Bay Breeze inn in Rock Hall. We loved the Carriage House, which feels like an elegant treehouse perched high amid beautiful magnolia trees. This space has an amazing design and it is a lovely experience to be woken up by the sunlight and the birds. Our hosts were friendly and helpful and very,...

The other reviews scared us, but it was the only place left for the weekend so we had to take a room there. The inside was very clean, no dirt or mustyness that others reported. The proprieters were very nice and accomodating. Our room had a private bath and balcony which was nice. The outside wasn't the greatest, so if...

The outside of the B&B was totally unkept. The inside smelled musty and was unkempt and the kitchen area was not very clean and it did not appear to be set up for guests, The bedroom at first glance seemed clean enough, but the balcony to the outside entrance was in disrepair with old summer furniture that one could not...

We planned a weekend get away a couple of months ago. My wife and I just purchased a Bed & Breakfast in Md. and wanted to take out daughters for a long weekend and start exploring our new state. The inn we purchased is in Chesapeake City (great town, Great Inn) but we wanted to see the surrounding area's. We...
