My husband and I stayed at The Inn at Brome Howard for our anniversary and had a wonderful time. The innkeeper was warm and friendly and the room was absolutely beautiful. It felt like being able to spend the night in a house museum--and the views of the river were to die for. I could have sat up looking out... More

There are few things we enjoy more than a few days of down time at a quiet, romantic B&B; in the midst of nature, beauty, and/or history. I happened upon this place looking for such places in Eastern Maryland, and it is absolutely what we were looking for in both ambiance & location. Despite some annoyances that were, admittedly, somewhat... More

The rooms are okay for what they try to do but the rest of the INN is managed poorly and the caterer is oblivious to the needs of clients staying there. No one seems to be able to do more than the routine and guests can wait literally hours before anyone will ask what they can do for you- that... More

We are sorry to learn you had such an unpleasant experience at The Inn. You can see from other reviews that this is not normally the case. Feel free to get in touch with our business manager, Porzia, at 240-895-4960. We would like to learn more about your involvement with Inn staff and the caterer so we can insure this... More

Stayed overnight in late September and enjoyed having the inn to ourselves. We stayed in the Ark and Dove suite and couldn't have been more pleased. From fresh cookies and water bottles in our room to the wonderful breakfast the next morning it was really hard to come back to the hustle and bustle.

This B&B is one of the nicest we have ever visited and we have been innkeepers ourselves for 18 years. Tara is an excellent hostess, friendly but low key and very attentive to the wishes of the guest. The history and ambience plus the comfort and QUIET make this a memorable B&B. We enjoyed everything about the Inn and I... More

I hope we're not spoiled for any future B&B visit elsewhere. This was our first, and the Inn at Brome Howard did not disappoint. Tara, the innkeeper, was friendly and accommodating at every step. This was a spur of the moment getaway for my husband and me, calling the morning of our anticipated arrival to book the Calvert room. We... More

I can't say enough wonderful things about the Inn an especially, Tara Jensen, the innkeeper. In spite of a weekend of rainy weather, her warmth and gracious nature made this a comfortable and cozy weekend with friends. Breakfast was so yummy, the accommodations perfect (who expects strong WiFi in such as remote and historic inn?) and the hospitality exceptional. Felt... More

Had a delightful stay at the Inn at Brome Howard where our expectations were surpassed thanks to Tara Jensen, the gracious innkeeper whose expertise insured that my daughter and I enjoyed a lovely visit. We had the spacious, light-filled Ark & Dove rooms (with private bath) that make up the entire third floor, so there were fabulous 360 views of... More

History lovers, old house lovers and just lovers will appreciate the welcoming, romantic accommodation at the Inn at Brome Howard. Expressions of St. Mary's recently took over the Inn at Brome Howard and it is a spectacular place to visit, stay, have lunch, brunch or host your special event. The new staff are cheerful and respectable. The food has no match. The most wonderful casual lunches can be had in the beautifully decorated historic home, overlooking the river. The grounds... “We stayed in the Calvert room, which has a lovely view of the back grounds and river, though it was partially obscured by condensation on the windows from the AC running. The room was VERY comfy, but it was incredibly humid, thus necessitating the AC working hard.”
  • The coffee was delicious, and a Keurig was at the ready just outside our room.
