This place is old and beautiful, loved the decor. The staff is very nice and the breakfast was satisfactory. The beds were comfortable and the room was very nice....and clean. I love the old fashioned feel of the place

Booked a room here on relatively short notice, arrived to find that the property had accidentally oversold itself. While management was apologetic, they initially did nothing to help me find an alternative place to stay (something a hotel is obliged to do if they overbook a guest). When prompted they suggested a few places (that were not helpful as these...

Unfortunately this traveler had booked through an outside booking agency, on a friday night at 6:30pm for the next day. I had informed the booking agency when they requested the change in day that I was full, and this information was never relayed to the guest. I did try to relocate the guest, but where it was 8pm on a...

Quaint. Authentic. Memorable.... The Beechwood Inn is the sort of rare treat that only comes from serendipity. My fiance and I planned on coming down to the Cape to visit relatives over the holidays. On a budget, we were supposed to stay at my fiance's parent's cottage in Wianno. Plans fell through, so we needed to make some last minute...

My husband and I stayed in the rose room last weekend, and it was really outstanding. The whole inn is filled with antiques and old art and we slept like rocks in our comfy (and huge!) four post bed. Julie (the innkeeper) was sweet and around when we needed her. Breakfast was delicious and the coffee was nice and strong...

The Beechwood Inn was a nice old Victorian that was located on the beautiful Old King's Highway Route 6a in Barnstable, MA. The downstairs was handsomely decorated and we really liked the massive trees and wrap around porch. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a barking dog in the house. We had to go find the hostess, Julie. We were...

Enjoyed our stay at the inn. The innkeepers, Julie and Joe, are very good hosts and made us feel welcome with cookies and tea and coffee in downstairs parlor. House is Victorian with lovely antiques. The bed was super comfortable, linens and towels appeared to be brand new and fresh. There was a small refrigerator in our room and wifi...

My husband and I stayed at this Inn recently. Our room was very comfortable with charming antique features, such as the four poster bed and the "fainting" couch. I loved the pedestal sink in the bathroom with the antique "hot": and :"cold" taps. It is within easy walking distance of bustling Barnstable Village. (Go try the Blue Plate Diner and...

I enjoy discovering new places and this is one of them! Located nicely off the busy streets of some areas of the cape, walking distance from the village, marina and beachfront and yet close to the busy areas if you want to go. Very neat, tidy. Lovely new owners. Gourmet breakfast in the sweet dining room which I could smell...
