As always, the Lamb and Lion Inn was a wonderful place to relax with our dogs for a long weekend. We mixed a little work with pleasure and found the internet to work just fine. Lounging by the pool with a cocktail - a perfect way to end the day. Tom and Ali are terrific hosts.

Thanks Michelle! We hate to see people have to work on their time off, but we get it. It's very hard to escape it these days, so we're glad you found the inn worked for both your work time and your down time. Mixing pleasure into business is another way yo take care of yourself. Thanks for taking the time...

We really enjoyed our stay. Room was very comfortable with huge bed. Tom, Ali and Eileen were extremely friendly and helpful and we made use of their home made excursions. The pool was very inviting as was the hot tub. Great after a long day out or just chilling. Fabulous breakfasts too.

We stayed in the barn-stable at The Lamb and Lion Inn for two weeks, and to be honest it was a huge disappointment. OK, there's a lot of space, but I don't think we have ever seen so many spiders, other creepy crawlies and cobwebs ever. It really put a damper on our stay. Even my husband who doesn't really...

We are not sure what to make of this review. The longest rental we had in the Barn this entire season was for 6 days. This guests claims they stayed 2 weeks? Think about that--would YOU stay in a barn of caliber with smells and "creepy crawlies" and debris for 2 WEEKS--and above that not say anything??? We certainly would...

We've stayed in the Innkeepers Pride room four times and love it. It's very spacious and comfortable--we love the private deck with hammock. Ali & Tom & everyone who works at the inn couldn't be nicer or more accommodating with ideas, tips and directions. The food is delicious. Our small dog loves it there too.

We are VERY fortunate to have so many return guests. As we speak there is a couple staying with us from Germany who have joined us every year (!) for 22 years (!!!). Although Danielle sounds like a newbie compared to "the Germans" she is like family as well. Making people smile and helping them to breath is what Ali,...

We just returned from another fabulous stay at The Lamb & Lion Inn! This time we stayed in the Barn-Stable barn with our 2 kids. It was fun, funky, clean & cozy! We enjoyed having meals on our own private porch, but we also enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi in the main courtyard. Tom, Allie & Eileen were just wonderful...

The Barn!!! We love our 1740 Barn and we really love when our GUESTS are showing it The Love--wow--lotta love goin' on here! The Barn is fun, funky, exciting, clean (thanks for mentioning that!) and a one-of-a-kind. The fully stocked kitchen with private deck, table, chairs & BBQ make it that much more homey. Glad you enjoyed your stay with...

My wife and I have been going to the Lamb and Lion for 14 years. In fact we just celebrated or 15th wedding anniversary there. The hospitality is second to none, and Tom & Ali are always willing to accomodate any request, to make sure we have a great stay. Having been there so many times we've stayed in most...

It's guests like you 2 that keep us loving what we do. This couple has a wonderful way about them and started coming to the inn 1 year after we bought it! Obviously they are very complimentary, but to be honest, when we have people like them come through our door we WANT to treat them like rock stars. We...

This is my home away from home. Actually it is better than home because I don't have to do anything except relax. Ali,Tom and the assistant innkeeper Eileen are the nicest most attentive people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. I went away for a girls retreat we stayed in Suite 9. I loved it. It is so...

What can we say about Cathy?? Any guest who arrives in the office with a giant tray of (awesome) mac & cheese and hangs in the pool with a margarita is a-ok with us. She is like family and a great supporter of both the Lamb and Lion Inn as well as Cape Cod. See you soon, Cathy!!

As the other reviewers mentioned, the inn keeper and assistant are so nice, friendly, so helpful that I hate to write a negative review but I want to help others make an informed decision. If you want a cozy, homey, quiet place, it may work for you but the moldy shower just didn't work for us and not worth the...

Thank you for the kind words and the review, even as we have mixed emotions as well on this one. These folks were with us for a few days and we certainly wished that they had brought their issues to our attention when they were with us, so we could have had an opportunity to correct them, rather than writing...

We were overjoyed when we learned that we could bring our special pet, Maggie, and how easily she fit into the whole environment. We LOVED the Innkeeper's Choice Suite, with our own private deck and overlook. Easy access to the most delightful patio and pool area. The pool was perfect. The Inn Keeper, Tom, was extremely helpful and caring and...

Thank you for the review! Yes, the Innkeeper's Pride is a very special place, and although it's just a few steps from the pool the back deck is the most private part of the entire inn. We hope you can make it back in the fall when the wood-burning fireplace is going! It's been a beautiful summer so far and...

After working in NYC for 4 months I travelled with a friend to Cape Cod for 3 days of R&R. We chose the Lamb and Lion Inn because it offered a wonderful 2 bedroom annexe, the Lamb's Retreat, which consisted of a sitting room, kitchenette, master bedroom, shower room and mezzanine bedroom. The decor is relaxed and homely without being...

When we re-did our pool 2 years ago with new steps, liner, decking, etc., the guy who did the work also converted us to salt water. We knew WE loved salt water but didn't know how many other people love it as well. "You should advertise it on your website as a 'salt water' pool!" he told us. The pool...
