I have been so amiss in not writing about the Sea Shell before, as we have stayed here many times. The first thing I look for is "dog friendly?" Not only do they love dogs here but they love dogs on the beach after Labor Day and before Memorial Day. If you get one of the rooms on the beach...

Ever since my husband stumbled upon the Sea Shell Motel years ago, we've returned religiously year after year. There is no place we'd rather be when we visit the Cape. The motel is seated right on the water, with a beautiful private beach that is raked daily to keep it soft and looking pretty. We've stayed in a number of...

we originally booked a place in Orleans last August Disgusting....called sea shell and they had an opening. My husband walked in the room and said OMG..I thought crap..a..but I walked in and was in heaven.....water view, wild flowers off our small deck that leads you to the private beach. Wonderful experience. Treated our pooch like he was a paying guest...

Whether you're a large family or a couple looking for a "Right-on-the-Ocean" stay, you'll be delighted with the old-school, New England charm and intimate flavor of the Sea Shell Motel. Pet Friendly! Private Beach! Wonderful staff. Cozy, seaside accommodations. (Great A.C., beds and shower). Close to everything Mid Cape from historic Hyannis to Chatham. Not a large, slick hotel with...

This was our 3rd year here and we have already booked for next year. It is located on a beautiful, small stretch of private beach and we always book a room that opens to the dune. This is a very basic motel with quaint amenities. There could be some improvements though, to bring it back to the place it once...

The Sea Shell is my first choice for Cape vacations. I have stayed there about 6 times so far. I always ask for a first floor ocean front room. Sliders open to a small porch area that is a very short stroll to the beach. I love to relax there with a good book. Every time I look up there...

So we came here right before tourist season started, but I still think this ended up cheaper than any other hotel with an ocean front, (I spent hours looking for an ocean front property, going up and down the shoreline on a map and looking at every hotel). I ended up booking room #25, which I am so glad I...

We had a 2nd floor room with oceanfront balcony. Amazing pet friendly too. Room was clean and comfy. Beach right out the door. Dogs not allowed on beach summer but plenty places to walk him in area. Staff was friendly and helpful. no pool onsite but we were able to use pool next door that was really nice. Restaurants nearby....

Pet friendly is not always easy to find oceanfront. While I travel with my emotional support animal, I tend to not take advantage of that and stay rather low key. Check in was quite easy. The room was clean and indeed ocean front. The private stretch of beach is rather small, but it certainly allowed for good people watching! I...

Spent a long weekend this past week and have nothing but good to say. A cozy, almost bed and breakfast atmosphere with uniquely decorated rooms. We did not have an ocean front room but still had water views. Very quiet and peaceful at night great. They have a great little area for a nice glass of wine at night overlooking...
