The Ashley Inn is a classic New England architecturally styled building, a short walking distance from the center of Edgartown, where you will find a plentiful supply of good places to eat. Fred, our host , was very helpful and provided a great breakfast including freshly cooked omelets etc. and our room was spacious with two very comfortable arm chairs... More

On the spur of the moment, we decided to get away to the Vineyard for some R&R in the off-season. We've stayed on the island several times before, but never at the Ashley Inn. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. Fred, the innkeeper greeted us there, gave us a tour of the house, showed us where to park, and... More

Had a lovely stay at this Inn. Our rooms was very nice and spacious with air conditioning! We had a comfortable night and a very nice breakfast the next morning. It is walking distance to all the shops and restaurants and nice and quiet at night time. Fred made us feel very much at home and we enjoyed our stay

Without any fanfare, we were given an upgrade to a large king room in the quiet rear of the house. We appreciated the quality bed and bedding, internet access, and HD television. The public rooms on the first floor are furnished with comfortable antiques. Breakfast consisted of melon, bakery items, and a choice of two egg dishes. The Inn is... More

My mom and I visited Martha's Vineyard from Aug. 30-Sept. 2nd and we stayed at the Ashley Inn. This was our first B&B experience and it was wonderful. We received a very warm welcome upon arrival and were taken to Room 8. The room was very clean, large and even had a sitting area. We had a private bathroom that... More

Late night stop in, in the dead of August. I got lucky. Fred took me in. So glad I stumbled across The Ashely. Lovely room, house and grounds. The right place, in the right place, with the right host. My breakfast spot, in the photo. Delightful.

We had a beautiful stay at the Ashley Inn just a few weeks ago. Fred is a gracious host and very helpful. The homemade baked goods at breakfast were very good. My favorite was the zucchini bread. Everything was home baked and delicious. The location of this B & B is awesome. 5 minute walk into Edgartown and you can... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here over 4th of July weekend. We unfortunately were only here for one night but we had a lovely time. The location is great! On Main Street just a few blocks away from all the shops and restaurants. This was a last minute reservation that we made through Hotel Tonight and we got it for... More
