My wife and I have traveled to the Berkshires many times in recent years, and after our first stay at Sweet Water Farm we have never stayed anywhere else. This small, cozy B&B has become almost literally our home away from home. We always look forward to returning to the light, airy, spotless bedrooms, the welcoming sitting room with wood-burning... The Inn has been a favorite place to stay while visiting friends in the area or just looking for a quiet place to hang our hats. We are always well-received with a comfortable room and excellent food coming from the kitchen in the mornings. Crisp linens and very well maintained rooms.

What a relaxing stay! The bed was so comfortable and the room was spotless. The breakfast was unbelievable. Fresh eggs and homemade bread...Yumm. Lynda could not have been more gracious and informative.

The weekend I recently spent at Sweetwater was probably the most relaxing of the past year. The inn itself is beautifully decorated, combining an old fashioned dark wood feel with a collection of colorful objects from all over the world, bookcases filled with cookbooks, and an eclectic choice of paintings, including some by Lynda, who runs the inn with her... My fiancé Buck and I stayed at The Inn at Sweet Water Farm from the 9th to 11th of February 2016. The property is really charming and the owner Lynda was an amazing host. The property is a beautiful New England style home with cozy furnishings in the colonial style, and some lovely personal touches. This was actually my first... More

The Inn at Sweet Water Farm, in Great Barrington, Massachusetts was a perfect place to welcome 2016. It's a beautiful property, inside and out, with every touch of comfort and warmth. Linda and Andrei, the proprietors, have created an environment of bliss for their guests. I awoke to a phenomenal, fresh breakfast made by Linda, a chef who uses all... More

We recently booked four rooms for a family visit to celebrate my mother's 80th birthday. The Inn could not have worked out better. Everything was perfect from the character, size and cleanliness of the rooms to the friendliness and service of the hosts. I would greatly recommend this Inn as a destination in the Great Barrington area.

Lynda was such a lovely, warm and charismatic innkeeper--she got us all set up for our evening at Tanglewood, lending us her cooler, cheeseboard, knife and a picnic blanket. Both me and my husband like to be active--she helped us a map out the perfect run and bike ride through the flats and hills of Great Barrington. Lynda is an... More

Really enjoyed the charm of this B&B. Lynda and Andrei are very welcoming and friendly. So many details to add to your comfort. From cookies, freshly baked scones and early morning coffee (7am) to many choices for a delicious breakfast prepared by Lynda using seasonal fruits and veges. We ordered baguette french toast with peaches and huevos rancheros. Also relaxing... More
