My husband and I came down to the Cape in order to participate in a fundraiser with friends. We stayed here the night before and night after so the whole experience was very relaxing. The breakfasts were delicicious and I got to sleep in a canopy bed which was something I really loved! We can't wait ro come back for...

I purchased a night at the Simmons Homestead Inn on Cape Cod Daily deal for my husband's birthday. Bill (the innkeeper) immediately contacted me to make sure everything was taken care of. It is definitely not your typical 'hotel', it is every bit as quirky and charming as the owner himself. We really enjoyed ourselves. Everyone there could not have...

Glad you had fun and do come again birthday or not. You mentioned not good for young kids. We do have lot of breakable things but we keep them above the reach of little kids and big dog's tails. Older kids enjoy the free bikes and stuff we have, but best in Summer. In Winter better to go to the...

The Simmons Homestead Inn is a homey warm and unique bed and breakfast that will not leave you disappointed. We have a blind dog so she has to travel with us. The Homestead is by far the best place we have ever stayed with our pooch. Bill the inn keeper is as warm and unique as the buildings surroundings. We...

And I am very happy all three of you had a great time. Think I told you I had always had a dog, even had a doberman when I came, but don't like leash laws so switched to cats. Would take them at 3-5 weeks old from the MSPCA so I could raise them to be dogs. Not bad, but...

Very easy to get to. Comfortable, welcoming and charming surroundings as well as a cheery and charming host. 3 or 4 minutes ride from the best restaurants in Hyannis. Exceedingly pet friendly with a huge backyard where you can walk your animals. We would return for certain.

Thanks, but this is a two-way street. When we get great guests like the 3 of you, we respond in the same way. We just want to make the Inn your home away from home here on Cape Cod. Works for both of us and we enjoy each other. See ya again soon I hope. Bill

Bill couldn't have been more friendly and welcoming! He even made phone calls to locate a pet friendly restaurant in town for me and really seemed like he appreciated that I chose his inn. Super nice guy and yummy breakfast. I'll definitely be back :)

Darn right I appreciated you choosing the Simmons Homestead, and tried to make sure you were happy and will keep coming back, pup and all. You have more fun and I make more money that way :-)) See reasons behind all this

Simmons Homestead Inn was a very welcoming and cozy bed and breakfast. The staff was engaging and friendly and incredibly helpful guiding my wife and i on our first trip to Cape Cod. We're already thinking about when we can return with our family to share the experience with them.

Thanks and I'm so glad you had a good time both here and on the Cape. These folks booked in through a hotel booking thing, and they probably stayed at lots of hotels before. But now that they had a great time at a B&B I hope they never have to go back to a hotel again. That's what we...

If you don't want the conventional cookie-cutter hotel experience, this is a great place to stay. Bill Putnam is well informed about the area, and has plenty of helpful handouts. He also makes a good breakfast. Large yard, fine old car collection, big yard with outdoor seating and hammocks, quiet street, friendly guests, pleasantly crooked old inn, lots of personality...

Thanks, you and Mike were fun guests. Since we joined Booking and Expedia, we are getting a lot of 'hotel' people who ave never been to a B&B before. We make sure they are happy and if we do it right, they will never go to a hotel again :-) Bill

I have never had a more heavenly vacation than the one I had staying with friends on Bill's property. I could have remained on the property all four days and had a nice, relaxing time. Luckily, Bill made provision of bicycles for us to use, free of charge, in order to take the short ride in to Main St. Hyannis...

Wow! It is something that I've noticed. People who say they love the Inn are people I certainly love having here as well. It's the kinda mutual thing I try to get across to make this your home while here on the Cape. Bill

I pulled up to the inn completely in awe of it. Bill, the innkeeper, is this sweet older man, who knew everything there is to know about the inn and the cape. The room my husband and I got was gorgeous. With free bike rentals, a car museum, beach chairs, and wine hour, you CANNOT go wrong!

Again, another person(s) who felt at home here and loved it. That's what I try and do first to make the guests feel at home and then to enjoy them myself. I look at having a B&B is to make life good for me too as well as the guests. A bunch of happy folk is a pretty darn good...

Thanks, Bill, for another terrific stay at the Cape for us and Jasper and Emma. This was our fourth stay at the Simmons Homestead Inn since 2014 and each one was great for us and our pups. And it was good to have the 4 of you back again. We try very much to make the Inn your home while here on the Cape, and are SO happy when you do make it YOUR home here on Cape Cod. And the dogs like it too.
