I have never stayed there. It looks better from the outside than when it was Super 8. There were no vacancies this year on the summer weekend that I needed, and I went to Econolodge instead. On popular Tanglewood weeks, book ahead.

I stay here a couple of times a year when visiting my daughter. Based on several reviews of other local motels, I would have to say that this is a great place for the $$$. Staff is friendly and room is always clean and comfortable. It you are expecting 5-star accomidations then you will be dissapointed but if your looking for a quiet, clean, comfortable place to stay that is minutes from the Berkshire Outlets and within walking distance of several eateries...then I recommend!

The room was clean, breakfast very simple, desk staff polite. Just what we needed. We came up to go to Tanglewood, which was 15 minutes away. Dunkin Donuts next door for early morning departure. Worked out well.

Stayed here 4 nights last week and found this to be a better price among many. Because of the virus, breakfast is not provided at this time, but coffee is available all the time. The staff are very polite and helpful. The room was very clean and seemed updated not long ago. The Mass Pike and the shopping outlet stores are about a mile south, and the town center is about 1-1/2 miles north - very convenient. Great downtown shopping and eating (Rose's Restaurant, Timothy's Italian Cuisine, among many others). About 5 miles to Stockbridge, and 20 miles to Pittsfield, so getting to see the Berkshires is easy from here, but quiet from all the tourist and business traffic.

Best part was the price. Clean room with 2 queen beds was small, but we only needed for sleep and showering. Breakfast was fine-fruit, yogurt, toast, toaster waffles, Danish, cereal. Will definitely return.

After a disasterous stay for one night at a dirty budget motel, I checked in to the Super 8 in Lee. My experience from the night previous was so crumby in the dump I was in, only to be followed by a visit to another equally lowball dump, I was a bit gunshy about finding reasonably priced, worthwhile lodging in western Mass.

I checked in here, got my room assignment, made it to my room door, held my breath and unlocked the door. I swung the heavy door open and, low and behold, I saw a spotlessly clean carpet, nice furniture and a sparkling bathroom. I was so relieved with the nice room that I went down the hall and found the housekeeper who cleaned my room to thank her personally for doing such a good job. This Super 8 obviously has employees who know how to do their jobs well and actually care about their work.

I make my living in the lodging business and know first-hand what it means to my own customers to have a clean facility.

This is definitely a great place to stay.

Very slow check in process. Room was musty and in need of updating. Old comforters and blankets on bed that need to be replaced. Mattress was as hard as a rock. We went with a group that all had booked rooms before we arrived. All of our group had the same type of room but were charged all different rates ranging from $100-$135. We were told at the desk that if you call you get a cheaper price than booking online. We tried to speak with the manager but he was not able to be contacted and no one else had authority to adjust pricing. If we are ever in the area again we will definitely not be staying here.

We make this our home once a year... one of the things that speaks well is the same front desk staff every year, an unusual thing in the hotel business! We found everything to our satisfaction... cleanliness, service, etc. In older properties we especially appreciate the attention given to outlets and charging stations. We had plenty! Parking lot was well lit... we stayed during a record heatwave with no air conditioning issues... about the only negative I can come up with is a vending machine that had a limited selection of drinks to being with and was nearly empty but that’s not the hotel’s fault.

This is just an easy place to stay. We always feel relaxed and at ease. Front traffic can be daunting, plan on turning right when you leave and reversing direction if necessary. It’s a pleasant walk to several food places, including Friendly’s for ice cream.

Prices are reasonable for the area, particularly in tourist season. Admittedly not luxurious, but well above average. I recommend it!

The room was very average, but clean, and what I would have expected for less than $100. The breakfast was a continental breakfast that was cereal, yoghurt and breads. So for $180 for the night, this was a bad deal.

We had such a terrible experience at the original hotel we booked through Priceline(Priceline if awful and I will never use them again!!!!), and found this one online! Thank goodness they were so wonderful when we got there they accommodated us so quickly and even let us look at the room first which was very clean and very comfortable! They also honored a price I found online! Thank you so much Super 8, I will most definitely stay at your great hotel again! All the employees were so wonderful and helpful and had a great sense of humor as well!! Thanks again!!
