First of all - great location. Followed by expansive hospitality, a beautiful, elegant space, fine dining, outstanding live jazz, an unpretentious and warm vibe, Inn Keepers who actually belong in the hospitality industry, bar tenders who are actual mixologists, and a convivial bar with something like a 40 page Scotch and Whiskey menu, great wine list and fun cocktails, and...

Visiting Western Massachusetts outside any season for the first time this Inn offered a most cordial welcoming - including an upgrade - from innkeeper Michele combined with an impeccable service through the five days spent in the heartland of the Berkshires end of November 2014. The Inn is centrally located in the historic center of Lenox in a former estate...

My husband and I were visiting the Berkshires after living in California for twelve years. We love Tanglewood and the theatre in the summertime. This time we came in the Fall to experience the colors. We did not know that we would find the best Bed and Breakfast we have experienced in the Northeast. The room was lovely with a...

Where else can you run into world class jazz in the Berkshires ?This is the perfect night hang out for a couple and their guest after a dinner on the town. Last Saturday night was sheer pleasure to the ear with musicians you otherwise meet in Paris Japan or Hamburg ! Have a Cognac by the Fire place and enjoy...

My husband and I spent a November weekend at Gateways for our first wedding anniversary and we had a wonderful stay The room was spacious, comfortable and had an unforced elegance that we really enjoyed. We stayed in the Portia room which had its own fireplace. Our hosts Michelle and Eiran were extremely hospitable and we would go back without...

We stayed in the Desdemona room and couldn't have been happier! The fireplace, romantic lighting, fine bedding all added to our perfect stay. The owners were amazing and couldn't have been more welcoming. Breakfast was fantastic with a great selection, fresh fruit and many organic options. I really have nothing negative to say. I would stay again in a heartbeat!

This is a great B&B/hotel. A real gem of a property. Great rooms - with very high end finishes and the whole property is in excellent condition. Beautiful staircase. Bar and restaurant in the hotel made a real difference. This would also be an excellent place to hold a wedding or family gathering. We had an excellent dinner and then...

I will allow the owners to introduce themselves, but it is worth the introduction. I have traveled to the Berkshires from the Boston area for two decades. It is much to the wonderment of the New Yorkers who think this is their vacationland. The Gateways is the best in the region for dining, accommodations, and access to all of the...

Last evening, I had dinner at Gateways Inn in Lenox, MA. Let me start with the warm greeting and welcome from the InnKeepers. They were gracious, friendly, and very informative. I had dinner with a group, and we were seated at three separate tables close together. The ambiance of the room was just delightful, and the food was superb. I...
