My husband I stayed 2 nights at the Cornell Inn last weekend for a last minute getaway to Lenox. Our room was charming and reasonably priced. Most rooms at the Cornell Inn have fireplaces, which is fantastic. We used the duralog both nights, and the innkeepers even gave us an extra so we could enjoy a fireplace afternoon due to...

I'm sorry to read that you did not truly enjoy your stay with us. We appreciate your feedback just the same and will look into some of your concerns/suggestions. Like the majority of New England, winter has been extremely tough this year. I was working that week-end and I know I shoveled and salted all of the walkways and entrances...

We were in need of a nice quiet getaway and this is just what we had during our stay at the Cornell Inn B&B. The owners are very pleasant and eager to please as well as the staff. The breakfast is all homemade and delicious. The king size room that we stayed in was so roomy and comfortable. It snowed...

My wife and I had a Valentine's Day weekend here and really enjoyed our stay. It's very comfortable, with a nice sitting area next to the lobby, a small bar area and a nice breakfast room. Our room (Letitia) was not in the main building, but it was only a short walk away along a well-maintained path. The fireplace in...

Thank you for your kind review. We're so glad you enjoyed your stay with us over the Valentine's Day week-end. We are fortunate to have 18 rooms with working wood fireplaces, which have been so wonderful for our guests during this crazy New England winter. We hope you come back for another visit! Cheers, Nell McCaffery

My fiance and I spent a night at the Cornell Inn after skiing at Catamount... It was amazing! The owner was so friendly and helpful and gave us the history of the Inn. Our room was fabulous - large yet cozy, fireplace was an amazing addition, and the bed was very comfortable! We stayed in the Frances... It has a...

This is our third stay at the Cornell, and the first with these owners. We had a very nice overnight stay, very comfortable and relaxed. It was a quiet time at the Inn so we didn't meet many people or have the buffet breakfast but they cooked to order for us instead. Karen greeted us and showed us our room...

Thank you for continuing to visit with us and I'm glad you enjoyed your stay over all. I'm sorry you were uncertain about the additional heating system. The entire house has heat via the main thermostat, but in each of the rooms, their are additional heat/ac units to provide extra comfort during the various seasons for those who prefer some...

My room was so lovely -,elegant yet cozy - that I didn't want to go out. Delightful bed and linens. To me, the Inn's furnishings and atmosphere felt genuinely historic, and not overly ornate. No cutesy teddy bears or fake flowers or plug-in perfumes in sight, thank God. I liked talking with knowledgable owner and interesting staff. . I felt...

My girlfriend and I stayed for a night in December and we loved it. It is walking distance to restaurants in downtown Lenox and there is also a bar in the inn and a delicious breakfast. The fireplace in the room was definitely the highlight.

Stayed in the adjacent building, after "peak foliage" weekend(s) - great rate for what can be an expensive B&B area. Our room was comfortable - not a premium bathroom but at least en suite. I would have given a four-star were it not for the outstanding breakfast in a very comfortable room in the main house. Has a B&B although...
