We came to the area for a wedding; but we decided to extend our weekend trip because it landed on our 1st anniversary. As everyone else has said, Ruth and Skip were both very welcoming and pleasant hosts. They made us feel very at home and helped us have a wonderful weekend. They even put some champagne in our room...

My parents came over from UK and we went to Salem for a week trip. We stayed at the Seagull Inn just down the road from Salem and it was great. Clean, room was fine and Ruth and Skip looked after us amazingly. skip even didn't mind my 4 year old bugging him and they even hung out. Would highly...

We were on a 10 day road trip to New England, we travelled from Ireland. We choose to stay in B&B's as we wanted to meet other American travellers and we weren't disappointed. On our arrival we met Ruth and Skipp who gave us a glass of wine and made us most welcome. In fact we were joined by friends...

My wife and I just returned from a perfect 10th anniv. getaway in Marblehead at the Seagull Inn. At the risk of being repetitive as far as all the other reviews here go, Skip and Ruth are the perfect innkeepers, and make you feel at home the second you walk in the door. Taking care of you is their only...

We just spent two nights at this delightful B&B on Marblehead Neck and could not have been more pleased with our room: The Library Room, and with our delightful and charming hosts, Skip and Ruth. Their wonderful place is relaxing, impeccable, and wonderfully situated. I am very hard to please and cannot fault the Seagull Inn in any way.....Lovely breakfasts...

We stayed at the Seagull Inn for one night on the 22nd August with our two teenaged children. We were over from the UK touring New England before moving onto NY. We stayed in the Lighthouse Suite and the accommodation was spacious and perfect for us all. We were able to spread out over the veranda and the roof terrace...

Skip and Ruth, what can you say about this wonderful couple that makes staying at the Seagul Inn amazing. They are probably the nicest inn keepers we have ever met. They open their home and make you feel like it is your own. If you are looking for the Four Seasons, this isn't the place for you. However, if your...

This was an anniversary surprise for me by my DH. He had booked it the day before - so we were "forced" to be in this HUGE suite - that could have easily been for a family. Skip greeted us with an offer of a drink or two (like he says - he may rename the the B&B to B&B(ooze)...

This lovely place doesn't really need another ecstatic review but it deserves one anyway. We stayed as a family of four in the Seabreeze suite (with another twin room made available for our girls to sleep in, but they preferred the Seabreeze sitting room). Ruth and Skip were as everyone else has described them, natural hosts who open their home...
