This property is in a good location, on the main road as you approach the town.Traffic can be very congested around this area, so try to arrive before "rush hour"! From the outside the inn looks older but inside it has been tastefully renovated. We were warmly welcomed by Mary. She showed us around the property and has a good...

The hotel has been restored and is beautifully maintained. It's a mixture of traditional and modern interior. Jeffrey was a star and nothing was too much trouble for him. The breakfast was very good with lots of choice and there was an endless supply of tea, coffee and snacks to help yourself to throughout the day. The garden area is...

Stumbled upon this gem on a recent trip to New England. The Inn is perfectly maintained and is a great representation of the local architecture. The room is spacious and represents the local vibe and history in décor. Our room on the ground floor had a king bad had a firm mattress (much appreciated!) and on suite bathroom. It also...

"Please note we only register children Fourteen years and older." That means they do not accomodate children under 14. In other words, kids are not accepted in this Inn. Make sure there are no misunderstandings with this Inn, because the policies are very rigid employed, and the manager is relentless.

This guest never stayed at our Inn. It is true, we do not allow children under 14 years of age. This is listed on all booking agents and our website. Thank you for your comment and I am sorry you could not stay with us.

Our 4 day stay at Marblhead Inn was a lovely experience. We enjoy staying at places where care has been taken in the decor as well as in the other amenities. We're slow starters in the morning, so we appreciated the several comfortable and "private" public areas, all furnished attractively, where we could sit and read the papers (provided). We...

Our family returned to Marblehead for an one week vacation. This is my second review of MHI and in order to eliminate redundancy you may want to read my 2015 review if you so desire. *Spoiler alert - it only gets better... As magnificent as the inn and our stay was in 2015, it is even more lovely now. This...

We had a beautifully decorated, spacious room. Definitely not cookie-cutter. Delicious self-serve breakfasts with fresh fruit, cheese, baked goodies and more. Wine and snacks at 5 pm. Jeffrey, the manager, was always available, friendly and helpful. Patios in the back and sides of the house, lovely garden. Sitting rooms, newspapers, magazines available. We felt 'at home' and didn't want to...

U fortunatley my stay was very short. I wish it was a longer stay. The welcome by Jeffrey immediately set the wonderful atmosphere of my stay straightaway. My bedroom was stunning and very comfortable with air con, wifi and lovely ensuite bath/jacuzzi. The bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was breathtaking! The Diesel coffee was so delicious! The range of cereals,...

My husband and I spent three lovely nights in the Junior Suite. If we didn't need to get back to work, we would have extended out stay. The room was cool, spacious, and SPOTLESS. I loved the decor - eclectic and tasteful. The grounds are beautiful. I recommend taking a book out to the back patio or sinking into the...

Our original plan was to stay in Boston and visit Marblehead as a day trip. I am so glad we ditched that plan in favor of the wonderful three days we spent in Marblehead at the Marblehead Inn. Thank you, Jeffrey, for your kindness, local knowledge, and suggestions for touring the area. Thank you for setting the tone of the...
