The innkeepers are the main reason to stay here. Fascinating, well-traveled, helpful, attentive. The inn itself has great possibilities - good location, fine architecture, spacious and quiet rooms. My only reason for not giving more stars is that the decor is not my taste.More

Yes! There is a bus stop right across the street that will take you to The Wonderland T stop, here you transfer from bus to train and continue into Boston on the "Blue line" Train. Check out the MBTA website for more details but yes it is possible as well as inexpensive and efficient. At certain times of the day you can take the bus all the way in to Boston as well. Headed into Marblehead the same bus takes you right into the heart of Marblehead. It is a short 3/4 mile walk to "downtown" Marblehead and a 1/2 mile walk to the ocean. I hope that helps and we see you soon.
