This property is in a good location, on the main road as you approach the town.Traffic can be very congested around this area, so try to arrive before "rush hour"!
From the outside the inn looks older but inside it has been tastefully renovated.
Thank Joanne G

Joanne, thank you for the kind words about your stay with us, the decor (resent renovations!) and our breakfast. Please forgive any misunderstanding that may have occurred, rest assured that you CAN touch the TV at the Marblehead Inn!
The hotel has been restored and is beautifully maintained. It's a mixture of traditional and modern interior. Jeffrey was a star and nothing was too much trouble for him. The breakfast was very good with lots of choice and there was an endless supply of...More
Stumbled upon this gem on a recent trip to New England. The Inn is perfectly maintained and is a great representation of the local architecture. The room is spacious and represents the local vibe and history in décor. Our room on the ground floor had...More

This guest never stayed at our Inn. It is true, we do not allow children under 14 years of age. This is listed on all booking agents and our website. Thank you for your comment and I am sorry you could not stay with us.
Our 4 day stay at Marblhead Inn was a lovely experience. We enjoy staying at places where care has been taken in the decor as well as in the other amenities. We're slow starters in the morning, so we appreciated the several comfortable and "private"...More

Yes! There is a bus stop right across the street that will take you to The Wonderland T stop, here you transfer from bus to train and continue into Boston on the "Blue line" Train. Check out the MBTA website for more details but yes it is possible as well as inexpensive and efficient. At certain times of the day you can take the bus all the way in to Boston as well. Headed into Marblehead the same bus takes you right into the heart of Marblehead. It is a short 3/4 mile walk to "downtown" Marblehead and a 1/2 mile walk to the ocean. I hope that helps and we see you soon.
