We enjoyed our stay Located a short distance from Salem and Marblehead parks and beaches. Jeffrey is the gracious host of this well appointed Inn. The room was very comfortable and a copious breakfast of fresh fruit, croissants, muffins, cereal and more was available in a bright dining area.

Good and friendly service, coming from a different country we had no phones they were very willing to help out and called taxis for us. The breakfast served was way above average, heaps better than we expected and just the general atmosphere of the Inn was lovely. We really enjoyed our time there and would definitely go back.

This grandpa and grandpa arrived for a 2 day visit at our grandchildren's home only to find our room there under construction. Instead mom and dad had reserved a room for us at the Marblehead Inn, a victorian building we have driven by for over 15 years and had shown little interest in. However, when we entered the Inn we...

My husband and I cannot speak highly enough of MHI. We just returned home from our 2nd stay there and already plan to return in the summer! You will want to hit up Salem which is nearby or take a tranquil drive up rt 127 North through all the coastal towns like Manchester-by-the-sea and Rockport. Marblehead is a central location...

The Marblehead Inn is a perfectly situated, cozy, and gorgeous inn. My husband and I had a weekend stay there and absolutely loved it. We visited nearby Salem for Haunted Happenings and it was lovely to stay outside the city. Jeffrey was so kind and welcoming, and was a wealth of knowledge about the area. The room was beautiful and...

We stayed for a couple of nights in room 8 (the map room) and had a great time. The room has a large wall print of a world map (hence the name) and although not huge, it was big enough for us. The only downside was that the aircon unit was one of the typical US-style ones where it's built...

The Marblehead Inn was the first stop on our 10 day road trip round New England and turned out to be a real treat. The building is a beautiful period mansion. It had recently been decorated inside, lovingly keeping the original character and features of the building. The owner - who I am slightly ashamed to say I can't remember...

We loved everything about the Marblehead Inn--the stately exterior that shoots you back in time, the modernized interiors, the near-gothic staircase. Our room (9) had everything we wanted--a sitting area with a flat-screen TV, kitchenette with marble countertops, and a bedroom with incredibly comfortable, firm mattresses. And a lot of silence. The common area always had snacks out for guests,...

My wife and I stayed overnight to reconnect with friends and family in the area. I booked online easily. Jeffrey greeted us cheerfully when we entered, quickly checked us in and took us to our room. He filled us in on breakfast times and info about the inn and area then left us to explore and enjoy our awesome, quaint...

I have stayed at this hotel twice, the first time I had an amazing experience but it was under different management and the front desk person Judy was so helpful and very pleasant. Since its under new management everything has changed. The owner is actually a really nice guy, but Jeff the manager is another story. He rude in person...

I am sorry to read that you had an uncomfortable experience at our Inn. Yes, we have made many changes here and for the most part our new guests have been very happy with what we have done. I am sure there are other hotels which are much better suited for your needs. We are sorry to see you go....
