This is a Bed & Breakfast that also has a full service restaurant. The Inn was built in 1760 but has been updated with electricity & bathrooms in the guest rooms. The restaurant and bar, however, is lighted with candles. The rooms were large and very comfortable. (Sorry no TV in the room we had in the main building. Everything...

Spent two nights at the Old Inn on the Green. The folks are friendly. The restaurant is top notch with an outstanding wine list and home made desserts. The Green is a quiet spot for a perfect mini-getaway. Stayed in the Thayer House which has large comfortable rooms and a wonderful claw-footed soaking tub.

Room was in a guest house, wide floor planks, stairs narrow and a little high-true colonial. Dining room in the inn was only lit with candles, food was very good as was the service. Waiters were knowledgeable and helpful.

We saw a chance to try the Inn on TravelZoo, including a dinner and two nights at the Inn. Couldn't pass it up. There is nothing around the Inn itself, however it is near Stockbridge and Great Barrington. There is much to see and do, 15 or 20 minutes in each direction. It is quite a tranquil and picturesque place...

Wow, what a place! The history behind this Inn is interesting. Built in 1760 to provide travelers a place to rest. Magnificent house, wide plank floors, antique furniture and decorations. As soon as you step thru the front door, it takes you back to early life and welcomes you instantly. The main floor rooms are so beautifully and lovingly cared...

Had a late night dinner at this restaurant with some good friends while visiting the Berkshires. The building is very authentic with real candlelight chandelier dining. We chose from an extensive price fix menu and had several courses. The food was fabulous and the wine selection was also very good. It was an expensive night but well worth every penny....

Very charming, romantic candlelit setting and beautifully prepared food made this a wonderful evening. Our vacation in the Berkshires has been primarily a museum and dining tour. This was one of the highlights. If you can see the pictures I have posted here, you can see how elegantly both the duck and halibut were prepared. The duck had a crispy...

Having lived in nearby Connecticut years ago, we decided to get back for several days as part of our 50th anniversary. What a wonderful find we made in New Marlbourgh and the Old Inn on the Green! If looking for a quiet corner of the Berkshires, charming and comfortable accommodations in a truly colonial era New England inn, and perfect...

This was our second trip to the Inn. The property is an authentic 1760 site. The large room was decorated for the period. The bathroom was roomy and very luxurious with ample supply of towels and nice selection of products included. Perhaps due to the location - about 20 minutes east of Great Barrington on a quiet road - the...

Thank you for the feedback about your stay with us. Alas, only AT&T reception in our immediate area. If only it were within our control! Our apologies for the not so great TV signal while you were here. The surrounding tree limbs are usually the culprit responsible for interference. We have recently had some trimming done, which seems to have...

Four of us tried the welcome menu tonight, a three course meal available on non-weekend evenings. They started us with several small bites including a pickled beet tiny timbale that was very good.
