As the hotel will tell you, they have been around a long time so they are a bit dated, however, I never once turned around and looked at the hotel, l looked at the awesome view of Cape Cod Bay, the dunes and Provincetown. In...More
We were surprised how worn the complex was. The room was large enough for 4 but the bathroom was ancient. Breakfast was served in a separate building but was nothing to write home about. It was quiet though since it was set high off the...More
Although not a fancy hotel, it was clean and comfortable with an outstanding view. I highly recommend a water view room, and either with a deck or not. Room was a bit worn out looking, but was clean, had a refrigerator and microwave, two sinks,...More
When booking this hotel I was told all rooms were ocean view....the rooms in bldg 8 are not. We stayed in room 84. The bed was very uncomfortable, there was a dirty face cloth hanging in the shower upon arrival, the decor is very outdated....More

Thank you for choosing to stay at the Outer Reach Resort. Our pet policies are in place so that all of our guests can enjoy their Cape Cod vacation. From your description, I don't believe your dogs will present a problem. Crate trained dogs are generally comfortable in their crates when left alone. We have issues in the past with pets being left unattended (and uncrated) in the room for many hours. Being left alone in an unfamiliar environment, these dogs would bark incessantly for the entire time and sometimes cause considerable damage to the room. Of course, their owners would not believe that their dogs were capable of this, but it happens often. That is why the pet policies are in place. I hope you understand our position in this matter and choose to stay with us. Thank you.
