A bit of history right here. The hotel is great, must remember that the rooms and all about it are from designs from a long time ago. Rooms are small, but very well done. Water pressure is lacking, real bad in our room for the toilet. But there is an charm about the building that you can not get with...

Had to take a ride to Northampton to review a business plan with a consultant. He was in town working just down the road. Great lounge and bar to sit down and talk. The hotel also has the Wiggens tavern for dinner. We ordered a nice bottle of wine which the waiter then told us they were out of it....

This is a wonderful historic hotel. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. The location is fantastic for downtown Northampton. Just don't expect the service this hotel would appear to have. There are no concierge services, no bell services, heck they don't even have free coffee/tea. Yet this is our first choice for a place to stay when we visit...

We stayed at the Hotel Northampton after a show . In the morning we left for breakfast, and dropped our luggage off at the car. We figured we've been out pretty late so we'd get breakfast and come back and take a short nap before heading home..Even though we did not return our keys or check out, housekeeping staff assumed...

Dear Sherri M; Thank you for taking the time to write a review of your stay. We welcome all feedback. Typically, if a guest room is scheduled for departure and completely empty of luggage and personal belongings, we assume that the guests has used express check out as a majority do. This is standard practice in the hotel industry. We...

Escaped for a NOHO getaway and didn't book at our usual down the street so when in Rome...scored one of the last rooms as a wedding had taken over most of the venue. Alas, double bed, small aged yet well kept room - was perfect for two. Breakfast in the hotel was lovely - sunny, busy, edible :) We opted...

Traveled to Northampton for an event at the Calvin Theater. Hotel Northampton is diagnolly across the street from the Calvin Theater, so it was just a quick walk to get there (no need to drive). We had a King Double Balcony room, that had one balcony that opened into the hotel atrium, and a second that opened up to a...

Stopped in for late lunch with my family on a Sunday afternoon. I ordered lobster bisque which was very creamy, but a little fishy tasting. I also order a Caesar salad and the dressing was bottled and not, a quality bottled dressing either. The filet mignon was not tender, either. It was more like a steak than a filet. Water...

A quick stop to see our son' s basketball game. Hotel was clean and comfortable. Melissa the bartender was friendly, funny, and attentive. We laughed that our Birthday are 9/4, 9/5, 9/6! Guess we need to back to celebrate all three. Spencer was also another friendly bartender. The bar is nice and bright with floor to ceiling windows. Good for...

We came up on Valentine's Day for a few day's getaway, we love the hotel and have stayed many times. The historic setting was romantic and beautiful in the snow, and the staff was as professional and helpful as always!!!
