Autumn Inn is a wonderful place to stay! It is expensive but the rooms are nice. The pool is nice even in the evening we found it enjoyable. The breakfast was nice they had food for people who are Gluten-Free. The staff were friendly and it was a fine hotel for us. It was priced luxary even though it was...

This is touted as a 3 star hotel and while it might meet the requirements on paper, this is a one and a half star at best. As noted in other reviews, the smell of mold is over powering. The front desk staff (who were perfectly accommodating and NOT the problem here) moved us to another room where the mold...

The hotel is kind of a throw-back. A bit dated but that somehow added rather than subtracted from the experience. Room was very clean, as was the property in general. Breakfast buffet was pretty good. Definitely a good place to stay for a night or too unless you need everything to be shiny and new.

This motel is located very close to Smith College and the town of Northampton. Great location if you are visiting the college. You can walk to great restaurants, cute shops and great bars. The motel needs an update. The rooms have a very musty smell. The air conditioning in our room was just fair. The bathrooms are dated. But the...

Ok, so I knew this was not a premium property. My bad. The staff and appearance were more than acceptable. Tired and worn, but acceptable and reasonably comfortable. It is the overwhelming odor of mold and mildew that have me reeling. The sheets, everything, smell as though they have not seen the light of day in months. It's stronger than...

My family of 6 recently stayed in a suite at the Autumn In and it was great. The room was large and served our needs. Plus they have a great breakfast with lots of options - even for us who keep kosher. The staff was super friendly and very helpful to accommodate our requests.

Our room with two double beds was very large and comfortable. It was on the second floor. I stayed here last fall in a double room on the first level, and that room seemed much smaller. Everything was fine, but there is no elevator, which might be difficult for some. Nice complimentary breakfast.

For convenient access to Downtown Northampton you can't ask for better than the Autumn Inn. Free parking, WIFI, and comfortable accommodations are just a leisurely stroll from the many sites nearby. Near the Smith College campus, the hotel sits in a quiet residential neighborhood. We walked into town to see the Smith College Museum of Art (great mural by Mexican...

I brought two 80+ year-olds for an overnight stop on their car trip through the area. I live in Northampton, but in this case I was assisting my friends by driving their car on the New York and New England leg of the trip to visit friends and attend a college reunion. On of the guests is on oxygen and...

The Autumn Inn is an older hotel but very nice, two stories, with parking directly outside the rooms. There's a nice "cold" breakfast which includes cereal, bagels, waffles, hard boiled eggs, muffins and yogurt.
