Beautiful Inn within walking distance to the beach, shops and restaurants. The room was extremely clean with amazing shampoo and conditioner. Wine/cheese and live music on Fridays, mimosas on Sundays, fresh chocolate chip cookies everyday and let’s not forget the amazing porch swing and rocking chairs. Highly recommend.

My boyfriend and I just returned home from another absolutely amazing visit to the Pequot Hotel and (once again) can't say enough good things about the entire experience. Lisa and the entire staff are always the best. They go out of their way to make sure everything is impeccable, and do so with smiles on their faces. The Pequot always feels like home, we are already looking forward to next year!
My husband and I stayed at the Pequot for 3 nights, Sept 13 to 17. The location is perfect, a quiet street, one block from the beach and 4 blocks from Circuit Street with restaurants and shops. Granted, it is an older hotel. Our room was small and on the second floor. No elevator so be prepared to carry your own luggage. The room was immaculate. The staff, especially cleaning staff, were incredibly helpful. The hotel supplied beach chairs, umbrellas, and beach towels. It is a very short walk to a beautiful beach. It is a very short walk to the gingerbread cottages. No need to rent a car, parking was very easy in the off season. We will be back.
We did a last minute booking at this hotel for the very last room they had. Obviously paying over $400 a night for a one queen bed room seems outrageous, but it was Labor Day weekend, and last minute, and to be honest, the LOWEST priced place on the island. ( the normal room rate is around $119 for this room in October) But even with that, we were so surprised! The room was immaculate, the check-in lady so very ,very helpful and friendly, fresh baked chocolate chip cookies homemade with either lemonade or coffee or tea..and a very plentiful and varied breakfast...plus WiFi..at no additional cost! It is the BEST location to reach everything Oak Bluffs and Inkwell. The front porch does have the most calming effect when sitting on the rocking chairs, even tho there really isn't a view from the porch. Our room was on the third floor so I wouldn't recommend it to someone with knee issues, but I have a heart condition and am a recovering cancer patient and was able to navigate it ok. They had excellent bath products( like I said - this was last minute) and that in itself was so appreciated! The bed was so comfortable, we fell fast asleep with no issues. The room although small, was perfect for two people. And even tho it was hot and muggy outside, the air conditioner kept us comfortable. It's not the Ritz...but we came for the island and food and shopping...the room was a bonus and we are going back in the Winter when it is less crowded. We are looking forward to spending an extended stay here and are currently working on talking our extended family to come as well!…
