We had such a great time. It was my husband, baby and I travelling for vacation. The Inn was centrally located, very clean and good size rooms, and the common area was fantastic. They made cookies every afternoon and a hot breakfast every morning. They had a cute fire pit with tables and chairs. Rhonda and Eric were so friendly and hospitable, we would definitely visit again and recommend this place!

Property's Favourite Review
Erik and and Rhonda are fantastic hosts. Always there if/when you wanted them and never around when you wanted some space. The Inn is a 12 - 15 min. easy walk from the OB Ferry terminal and a 15 min. Uber from the VH Ferry terminal. It is perfectly located so that you do no have to have a car if you want to stay in OB. Everything you want is a few minute walk away. The Inn is clean and comfortable and very quiet. We had a great time and will return again - I highly recommend the OBI.

Erik and Rhonda were definitely the hostess’ with the mostest for our 4 person girls getaway! We stayed in the Penthouse #10 room and we had plenty of room to sleep, relax and get ready for our adventure on the island! We felt welcome from the moment we arrived to the moment we sadly had to leave. They went above and beyond with all the bells and whistles!

Having no idea where to stay on Martha’s Vineyard we relied on the trip advisor ratings. We ended up at an inn in the town of Oak Bluffs. We quickly learned that Egartown is more of the upscale higher end area that in advance we might have chosen. We even started to look for another place to stay….. we clearly had an attitude problem!!! OAK BLUFF INN IS A SECRET LOW KEY GEM! It isn’t fancy and the owners Eric and Rhonda are very unassuming. No mention anywhere the the sheets are FRETTE…. But they are! The soaps in shower are all AVEDA products … but they are, and when you’re offered your breakfast options including a waffle (you think it would be for example a frozen waffle…. ) OUT COMES A LARGE BEAUTIFUL FRESH MADE WAFFLE!!!! We asked Eric to build a fire in his fire pit and it was awesome! We enjoyed wine with him, had great conversation and met some very nice people. Our second night we brought wine and cheese outside, and Rhonda his wife joined us. It felt like we were staying with our best friends. The experience here in Oak Bluffs was so real. We were able to get a sense of what everyday life is living here rather than being part of the “ see and be seen” crowd. We toured every part of the island, had great meals…. Including one in Charming Edgartown as well. The local people on Martha’s Vineyard are as nice as can be! We wouldn’t do our stay any different and would definitely come back to the OAK BLUFFS INN.
