This was our first stay at the Island Inn. Gin booked on line having never seen the property.
The desk clerk was great: friendly, helpful, efficient, and provided good dining suggestion.

This was our base for a two night family getaway on MV. Location just outside of OB was ideal (we had a vehicle-but also on bike path between OB and Edgartown). Grounds were beautiful-especially in early June with all in bloom. Pool and pool area...More
We stayed in G37, one of the condos. It was on the ground floor but I didn't find there to be noise from upstairs, although we were close to the exit and sometimes people were loud coming in at night. The view was really just...More

We stayed in unit number G34. I can't speak for other rooms or condo suites at this facility, but I can tell you that this was the best mix of luxury, island style, comfort and coziness that I've experienced anywhere, let alone on Martha's Vineyard....More

I am not familiar with either of these specific units' but the condominium suite unit we stayed in (thirty something??) is functionally a 2BR unit with 1.5 bathrooms. There is a main BR, and a second sleeping area with 2 twin beds next to the living area, but it has a half wall rather than a full wall adjoining the living room. I found the place very clean and the staff very friendly, and eager to address any issues if you had a problem. The office opens late on weekends and my wife and kids loved the complementary k cup coffee and hot chocolates in the office. The distance to the beach and Lola's restaurant (BTW $1 oysters during happy hour) is great. The distance to the center of Oak Bluffs is about a 20 minute walk or a 5 minute bike ride. Hope this helps. We really like the pool and tennis courts are also available. Have fun.

The townhouse is spacious; 1 full bath ground level, ground floor bedroom has 2 twin beds, spiral staircase to master bedroom with 1/2 bath, pull out couch in the living room, small kitchen area, balcony to drink/eat breakfast in morning, room was clean. Location is closer to Oak Bluffs, on bike path, bus route, only a few minutes away. The ferry port is at Vineyard Haven and Oak Bluffs, bus and taxi service is available at both. Edgartown can be reached via bus or bike.
