This is a great family run business known in town for years. It is exactly what you want and expect when on the cape. A great clean cozy room the end and start the day, We have stayed in the summer and the winter. Great location to restaurants and the necessities ;like grocery and CVS.

The location of the motel is perfect. The price was good and since we're on a tight budget, we do not have high expectations when staying in a cheaper motel. However, there is a difference between outdated and very poor condition. The wallpaper was peeling away on most of the walls. They propped up a coffee table against the wall...

We stay here when on Cape Cod because it is the best place to stay for the value. It is not glamorous but rooms are always clean, linens always fresh, staff is so nice, friendly, accommodating and welcoming. The room we usually stay in has a a mini fridge as well as a deck where you can sit outside. I...

The motel has nice curb appeal when you arrive. It is an older motel and could use a little sprucing up but it is clean and the rooms are large. I liked the fact that the room has two doors. One on the front and one in the rear. The rear one goes out onto a deck and the pool...

Although this motel is a little run down, it was very clean and the service could not have been friendlier. It reminded me of "old Cape Cod" with its pool, outside decks, and old-fashioned furnishings. They were very accommodating for our special occasion. The motel is nicely situated near businesses and beaches. For the price, it is a bargain in...

In the interests of full disclosure, I need to start by saying we were a group of ten with a total of four rooms. Four of us were not very happy, two were reasonably satisfied and three were neutral. So I'll list the pros and cons to start. Pros: the room was a decent size and clean; the pool are...

This was our second stay here at the Old Tavern Motel & Inn. The staff are very friendly and the room is clean. It is a bit dated but we really spent very little time in the room as most of our time was spent outdoors. The beds could use new mattresses - but if you like a softer mattress...

Great family run hotel in the centre of Orleans. Waking distance to a everything you would need. It has everything you need up to date but still had the charm of the Cape that people look for when going down for a getaway. The pool is nicer than you would expect. A nice change after a day a the beach....

We recently stayed here for 2 nights. While the small tavern part of the inn was neat, the motel does not appear to have had any major upkeep in decades. Our bathroom had no fan, so we had to open the bathroom window when showering, which happens to be at eye level for anyone who is walking on the deck...

Good location, close to restaurants, shops and beach. Staff is friendly/helpful and the pool is a plus. It needs a makeover badly though. Our air conditioner didn't work well and the appliances were outdated. For a night or two, it works.
