There are pros and cons here, mostly pros. I would stay here again if in Plymouth. It's an older building but nice. Get a room facing outwards towards the harbor. You can't really see anything but it's better than overlooking the pool, which will give you vertigo and claustrophobia. You can sit on the balcony (small but cozy) and snuggle...

Thank you RiverBirch1967 for your review of our hotel! We appreciate our guests feedback of our rooms, for it helps us to better future experiences. Our balconies are a nice touch to the select rooms that have them, especially during the cool fall weather! So happy to see you were able to snuggle up and enjoy the scenery. All guest...

I've used this facility throughout the years, and it had been on the decline -- not any more! Major renovations are being done throughout the facility. Our room had new paint, carpet, and furniture - quite nice. There are still a few things that may need attention (i.e.: the bathtub had a constant drip) - but there was so much...

Love the new decor and updates. Staff is always accommodating and pleasant. Very quiet even when fully booked. Location is the best and seafood near by can't be beat. We always enjoy our visits! Best place to stay when visiting Plymouth!

Dear Laurie S, we love guests like you! It is always wonderful to read reviews that entail positive feedback about our renovations and our staff. You're spot on that our seafood here in Plymouth is excellent. We always highly recommend Wood's seafood right on the wharf, or Cabby Shack for a cup of award-winning "clam chowdah"! We can't wait to...

Nice rooms, clean and conveniently located. Only One Block from water & easy, short walk to the Mayflower & many restaurants. Cute little restaurant in hotel, surprisingly very good. Plimouth Plantation is definitely worth a stop!

The Hotel 1620 is an older facility, but is comfortable and well maintained. It is staffed by very courteous and attentive individuals. When we checked-in, I asked if we could have a room closer to the front of the hotel, but Nicole didn't have any available(there were two bus-loads of visitors already checked-in). However, the next day,as we were returning,...

We stayed for 2 nights the room was clean and a good size, the hotel was in the process of being updated but we were not affected by this. It had a nice pool area an a small gym. Great location. There is only a small pub for a restaurant with a very limited menu and they have a fair...

We stayed here for 2 nights on a tour around New England, It is a modern 4 storey hotel with a restaurant, pool, lifts to all floors and free Wi-Fi in the rooms. There is also an internet point in the lobby. The hotel is at one end of town with Plymouth Rock and the harbour about 10 mins walk...

Stayed just the one night as part of an escorted tour. Good size room with the usual facilities: TV, Coffee maker, Fridge, 2 x double beds. All bedding & towels were very clean as was the room. Breakfast was limited and, we thought, a bit expensive ($13.95) for what was on offer. We have had better!! Very good location and...

Our family of five enjoyed our stay here as we passed through Plymouth. Our room was on the first floor with a sliding glass door that opened to the indoor swimming pool, much to our sons' delight. When we arrived, we noticed the lock to that door needed to be fixed, and upon alerting the front desk, it was promptly...

We stayed here for the location and photo's on the web site but they were under construction and the paint smell in our room was sickening. It looked like they just painted over the doors without preparing them as they were peeling badley and the room was very dark and depressing dark blue paint everywhere. The ring on the drain...
