We camped here the last week of their season. (This campground closes September 30.) the campground hostess was very friendly and helpful. It was easy to find - great directions by the hostess. Our pull thru site was a bit short for our 35' TT plus truck but the campground was not crowded so it worked. It was an easy...

We have a 40ft rv so we are happy with a level sight. This place is a little on the expensive side. The roads and spaces are well worn gravel almost dirt. For the money I would have expected better. On the plus side they have a pool, laundry and one of the best playgrounds I have ever seen. They...

This campground is close to everything. Great location. Clean sites. Nobody bothers you . They have two small pools. No store but your minutes away from everything you need. They have a big playground for kids. I would stay again.

We stayed at Black bear for a week and I am glad we didn't listen to the reviews. Yes it's a campground, no store no activities and small sites but bathrooms were clean all week. Pools are small and opened late but cooled you off. Very quiet place. Could have used some trash pick-up on grounds and fire pits but...

We had some very dear friends visiting from California in their motor home staying at this campground. They invited us to dinner at their site. We are in our 70's and would have no intention of availing ourselves of the facilities yet we were charged $10 each to enter the property late afternoon...outrageous!! If you even think about staying here....and...

We recently bought a lightly used 2014 travel trailer because we were tired of staying in hotel rooms or with relatives as we traveled around New England. We decided to book 6 nights at Black Bear Campground inspite of all the bad reviews and the low 2 star rating because it was conveniently located near our friends and the business...

Two, very small pools, one is more suited as a hot tub but with cold water. The sides of the pool are brown and I felt nervous swimming in the water. It is only open from noon to 7pm which is ridiculous in the heat of summer with children. They do have a beautiful park for children, looks new. The...

This is our 3rd season of camping and travel mostly on weekends and have camped in at least in 30 different campgrounds in New England over the past 3 years. BB wins as being the worst campground ever. Site was overgrown with weeds, Sewer hookup for abutting site was practically under our picnic table, the list goes on, so my...

True, the campground is a good location close to beaches but not worth the disaster of a campground. We were greated and checked in fine but upon arrival at our site it was overgrown with weeds and tall grass and the fire pit full of garbage, they do not tend to the sites. The bathrooms were disgusting with peeling toilet...

We stayed here to go to Hampton Beach which is only 15 mins away. The campground is not very well taken care of. Restrooms need updating. No activities for kids or adults. Basically just a place to stay in a camper. It was OK for us since we spent most of the time at the beach, but if you're looking...
