The coziness of the main room at the inn with the rustling fireplaces, piano music, and plush antique sofas and rocking chairs was a welcome respite from the cold. The staff was super-duper friendly. The food at the restaurant was delicious. They have a real attention to detail here. You can see it in the fresh cut flower at eat...

We are delighted that you enjoyed your stay with us. The Main Inn has two wood burning fireplaces. One is located in our Lion’s Den pub where we have live entertainment every evening and never a cover charge. The second is in the main lobby offering a warm welcome for travelers, just like it has for the past two centuries....

Two friends and I had our annual girlfriend over-night at The Red Lion Inn this year. We stayed in the Dorothy and Bessie Suite in McGregor House. It's the second floor of a very old house (reminded me a LOT of my own parents' house with wide plank floors that creaked every time we moved from room to room) and...

Normally reviewers say to stay in the main building when you stay in old hotels, but I would say the opposite. We stayed back in August and were given a small, very dated, dark and well worn room in the main inn. I felt like crying. My husband talked to the people on reception, who showed him a similar room...

We are grateful that you shared your experience with us. We find that our guests have a wide variety of tastes & preferences, so we provide a wide variety of lodging options. The Main Inn building has the quaint charm of a quintessential old New England Inn, while our newest guesthouse Maple Glen offers a more modern accommodations with luxurious...

A pleasant surprise. Sometimes these old inns are just getting by on...being an old inn. The RLI has a very friendly and helpful staff, good sized rooms (with 2 luggage racks and enough room for us to gather and spend time with our fellow travelers) and just an overall comfortable feel. The old-door pool and hot tube is year round-if...

We are so grateful to hear about our guests’ experiences at the Inn and welcome everyone to explore all of the nooks & crannies! We have many points of interests throughout the Inn, including over 100 antique teapots and the unique wall art that lines the hallways. Don’t forget to check our Gift Shop, which sells locally made items!

After many years away we spent the weekend at the Red Lion Inn with some friends. We had a lovely room on the third floor with a king size bed and large bathroom. We even had a door onto a back porch with access to the parking lot. It was as warm and welcoming as we remembered. The room was...

Loved everything about our visit! Stayed at the Stevens House and loved the room and the dinner at the hotel, this place never disappoints. Not enough superlatives in the English language to fully describ our experience! Bravo Red Lion Inn!!

We are very grateful for our guests’ feedback. The Stevens House, which is one of our nine guesthouses, located on Pine Street across from the Main Inn. The house has nine private guest rooms, with a common kitchen and living room area with a working fireplace. It is located off of the main roads, and has its own parking lot...

Stayed here with a friend after the peak of fall peeping, so we got 2 beds in a room for a hefty discount EXCEPT that I did not realize how far the shared bathroom could be . Otherwise , it was quite an enjoyable stay...the INN is pretty historic ( love historical places so I enjoyed it ) and it...

Disclaimer: I didn't actually stay the night. Just spent a few hours here so the review is based on my impressions ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I found out about this place through a friend who wanted to find a nice quiet place to drink and a "show". Stepping inside you can tell that it has that "colonial" feel and that's by design. This...
