So the wife and i were looking for a quick getaway and i called the Publick House. Now I Already knew their in-house bakery was Fantastic and their Homemade, fresh from the oven, hot Pecan rolls are To-Die-For. So when i got their room rate i asked if they had any "Specials" or sray & dine packages. And they Did,...

First, the hotel room was on a major slant and the floor felt as if it was going to buckle underneath my weight, which is expected from an old hotel. But the terrible experience didn't stop there. The air in the room didn't work either, so we were left with an old musty smell that wouldn't go away. Again, old...

My mom and I stayed at the Publick House during the Brimfield spring market because it was one of the only local places with availability and a reasonable rate. We checked in at the main historic building, which is beautiful. The grounds are beautiful. The staff members were very nice. I'm sure many of the rooms that are in the...

I live in the North Shore of Boston & my 83 year old Aunt lives in Ct, so we met at the Publick House Restaurant for lunch. We had such a wonderful day! The restaurant was so rustic & cozy. We had a delicious Turkey Dinner that was superb! Our waitress Janet was so friendly & efficient. She was so...

Beautiful and historic buildings make your dinner engagement even more memorable. Dinner was delicious and the service was very attentive. The fireplace and comfy furniture was very cosy on the cool and rainy night we were there. Breakfast in the bakery was wonderful and the warm cinnamon buns are reason enough to make a return trip. Heavenly !

On the way back from the Berkshires ,I wanted my daughter and granddaughter to have lunch at the publick house. I had been there several times and loved it. With slow traffic we missed lunch hours but we were still offered the sandwich menu. Children could eat free because of vacation week. My granddaughter ordered the best turkey dinner. We...

Had lunch there and the food was all home made.. enjoyed dinner and would definitely go back..I had the turkey dinner. Just like home. Other dinner was stuffed trout, which was excellent.. they also have a bakery on premises which they do all their own baking.

Stayed over en route to college tour at Holy Cross. Only 25 minutes away and way nicer and less expensive than anything in Worcester. We used to stop here years ago en route to Maine and it is still awesome - breakfast in the restaurant is a family fave. The new building (Chamberlain House) is great - roomy and clean...

Excellent food in an historic old building that just oozes character. My steak tips and shrimp were perfect, the bok choi was too oily. My husband's sweet potato gnocci was nicely done. Our server was friendly and attentive

We booked 2 nights at the Inn for a wedding. I wanted to stay in the Main House so we wouldn't have to go out in the cold weather. Our room was small but nice and clean. The only problem with the room #11 was it was right over the main Function Room and the first night we could not...
