Cool place room was large clean bed comfortable clean pool n a balcony. Bathroom was small but adequate although the shower curtain had mold on it. Staff was nice helpful and accommodating. A coupon saved us $30.
We stayed in a suite in the Chamberlain House for our son's wedding and had a marvelous time. Though not cheap, it was worth the cost. The bed (king-size) was excellent; the suite was roomy, with tvs (should you wish them) in both rooms.
First, the Publick House is worth visiting, even if you are just passing through Sturbridge. It was built in the late 1700s and displays authentic architecture. Additionally, all the rooms contain a plethora of antiques and fun details, right down to the wall paper.

There is an outdoor pool that is probably open during daylight hours until it gets too cold to use. Call the front desk about refrigerators, new renovations probably brought new amenities. There is a YMCA in nearby Southbridge that would probably allow guest privileges at pool from 6AM-9PM
