We stayed in a suite in the Chamberlain House for our son's wedding and had a marvelous time. Though not cheap, it was worth the cost. The bed (king-size) was excellent; the suite was roomy, with tvs (should you wish them) in both rooms.
First, the Publick House is worth visiting, even if you are just passing through Sturbridge. It was built in the late 1700s and displays authentic architecture. Additionally, all the rooms contain a plethora of antiques and fun details, right down to the wall paper.
