This historic inn is quite as advertised. It includes several interesting micro museums. Rooms are clean, and well furnished. Unfortunately our room was on the side facing a fairly noisy blower which ran all night to be sure to ask for a room on the other side of the hall. Dinner was excellent, breakfast less so. Kitchen was not competent...

Had a very nice meal here. This is a place to try at least once as the building itself breathes history. It is the oldest inn in the country and has been serving since 1716. You can almost feel the ghosts of the past as you enter the pub. Very small room with a working fireplace and small bar with...

We stayed and dined at this beautiful Inn and absolutely loved every minute of it. The Pub- part of the very original structure, still has original beams and a wonderful cozy fireplace. Dave the bartender was awesome and made us historical drinks. The rooms were cozy and the bed pretty comfortable. (You're staying more for the atmosphere and the ambience...

As we walked into the Inn a flickering fire welcomed us...it's a brisk October day...perfect! It's easy to see why this Inn has been a success for 300 years! Food was fresh, well presented and generous! Plus they serve Indian Pudding....which is a New England treat! Beautiful grounds...lots to see!

Although we did not stay at the Inn, we did have dinner at the restaurant. The Inn is the centerpiece of the Wayside Inn Historic site and is very impressive. It is the oldest operating Inn in the country offering comfort hospitality to travelers along the Boston Post Road since 1716. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere and specializing in...

One of the best dinner inns we been to -- great New England fare -- service top-notch - portions good for your appetite -- and, tasty tasty tasty. Scrod was one of our table favorites -- stop in at the bar for an after dinner drink -- nice.

There's no better time of the year in New England to visit Longfellow ' Wayside Inn in Sudbury, MA for lunch. Sometimes it's as much about the dining experience as the food itself. With the Fall foliage peaking, the grist mill's water wheel spinning and history all around you, it's hard to not enjoy life, and be thankful for all...

There were two dining rooms and a bar which are located in the historical building along with a gift shop and lodging. We dined in the pub. The food was excellent, plentiful, and tasty. You felt like you had stepped back in history dining in the local pub. The waitresses were dressed in period costumes. The grounds are lovely with...

No matter which dining area, the ambiance is warm and welcoming. Try the patio and enjoy the sounds of the woods and candlelight shadows. Great fish, sides and decadent desserts. Be sure to walk through the rooms and see the history of our county's patriots.
