This unassuming little motel was absolutely perfect for me. I was travelling with a small dog, and the care and love they have put into those of us with dogs was amazing - the best I have ever experienced. They have a good-sized enclosed dog park area, including some toys. There are doggie bags and disposal cans available in multiple spots, and special treats, food/water bowls, and even a cozy fleecy blanket - all for the dog. They understand how precious she is to me! Also, the shampoo and conditioner were lovely, and the sheets were the softest and smoothest I have ever slept on. Finally, the breakfast included a veggie frittata, home baked goods, yogurts, hard boiled eggs, and excellent coffee. I truly could not have asked for more!

I love staying here. It’s quiet, safe, clean, dog friendly, great beds, excellent breakfasts. I like the new keyless door locks. The owners go out of their way for me, including putting breakfast in the little retro room refrigerator because I have to leave before breakfast is served in the mornings. I appreciate the plush blanket they leave to protect the white quilt in case people let their dogs on the bed. Providing dog dishes for food and water is another nice touch, as is their large fenced in dog yard.

If you are a dog owner (well really anyone), you need to stay at Berkshire Valley Inn. As we were leaving to head to the Berkshires we got a nice phone call from the owner, Pamela, informing us of our room number and code to the door. Once we arrived it was easy, entered the code and the door opened to a beautifully furnished room, complete with a mini refrigerator and Keurig. A great mini bar with everything from water, protein shakes to popcorn.
As a family that loves to travel with our pup we LOVED the fenced in dog park on the property. Our dog Lucy loved being able to fetch balls, and run freely. It was great to get out some energy prior to going out to dinner.
Breakfast was always a treat with various baked goods (I loved the apple cider donuts), frittatas, hard boiled eggs, yogurts and fruit. I loved the record player with Fleetwood Mac entertaining us during our meal.
The pool and greenhouse/zen rooms were a nice touch. We didn’t use them but were always tempted.
We stayed at Berkshire Valley Inn in 2015 and 2016. The new owner is doing some great upgrades. She is a hard worker and I love supporting small women owned business. We are already planning our next visit!

This is our third time staying here. It has been amazing each time. The rooms are very clean. The breakfast is homemade and great. The rooms are large and very well equipped. There are extra snacks and items in the room available for purchase at reasonable prices. The staff are very responsive and extremely nice.

Excellent from start to finish! My son, his dog Stanley and I arrived later than expected, no problem, We were sent instructions about where to go and how to access. Everything was very inviting and super clean. TV and computer use on BVI wi-fi was fine. A delightful kitchen area and living room area with a working gas fireplace added to the charm of this delightful stay. Breakfast was delicious with home made quiche, blueberry muffins and cranberry scone along with juices and coffee. Pamela was very kind and made us feel at home. This was probably the best stay of our 7 stops along our 10 day adventure together. Thanks!

Our stay at the Berkshire Valley Inn Columbus Day weekend was everything and more. From the moment we arrived, the Inn keeper was warm & attentive, providing us with tips for places in the area, restaurants etc. She provided everything we could possibly need in the room and more. The special touches in the room were charming. The breakfasts were delicious including fresh bakery items, egg dishes, yogurt etc. Treat yourselves to a visit to this Bershire Inn.

It seems to be managed by a couple of friendly ladies and will try and help with things. The room was a little dated and basic, but had 2 double beds, a drawer unit with a small television housed on top. There was a lamp, mini fridge, microwave and a coffee machine. The bathroom was a shower over the bath tub. Breakfast was ordered on the morning and they either dropped it to the room or you could eat at the table in the general area but had toast and fruit. Unfortunately, being light sleepers, we found the bed really creaky/squeaky so it wasn't a very good sleep.

We are a family of 5 traveling to Lake Placid with our 2 Golden Retrievers. Pamela was amazingly accommodating. She upgraded our room to a 3 bedroom 2 bath unit so we would be more comfortable. The inn is a work in progress but the upgraded aspects so true promise of a great destination! The greenhouse/zen spaces, pool, dog area, lobby are all beautifully decorated. The breakfast was included and very good. The location is close to Jiminy Peak, Mount Greylock and other attractions. I can’t wait to see the finished product!

This motel/inn is truly a gem … I booked this inn based on it’s reviews and it did not disappoint. The location is great .. apart from the crowds but close enough to Williamstown to drive in for dinner. Our room was spotlessly clean, comfortable and all the amenities we needed. There is a new dog park added this year, the owner also provided a dog dish and blanket for our doodle. The inn is moderately priced and we will return ..

Yes we allow pets in all room types. We do suggest the one bedroom suite for large dogs as there is a living room with more open space.
