Stayed at the Bay Valley Resort for a department retreat. Rooms are due for updating and remodeling. But they are clean and cozy with comfortable beds. The landscape, golf course and pool areas are very nice. The food was wonderful and the staff provided good customer service. The only issue was the horrible wifi.

This hotel is a little dated but it is a nice place to stay while going to an SVSU game due to location. Restaurant has bar type food and entertainment most of the time. I stay here for all home games and have never had an issue.

We stayed here for a lacrosse tournament. This hotel is very deceiving... At first impression you think you're in a very nice hotel. *Most* of the public areas are well-kept and updated. However it was very clear that they save the better rooms for weddings and give the old & run-down rooms to teams... Once we got to our hallway...

we enjoyed our stay. the internet is horrible, so if you need to work or do schoolwork, forget it or bring a hotspot. it doesn't work. the hot breakfast is five bucks a person, and regular continental is free. the rooms are a bit dated, but things were comfortable. there seems to only be one elevator, and its a bit...

When we arrived there you could tell a wedding was going on. When we went in the front people were very frustrated. I booked my room about a month in advance. My husband is on oxygen and we were told we could not have the room we booked. Our room was way away from everything. Had stairs to climb. Elevator...

My family stayed at this hotel for a wedding in June 2015. It is a nice setting surrounded by a golf course, the staff at the desk were friendly and helpful, and it was surprisingly affordable. However, the rooms are definitely in need of renovation. It smelled musty to me and the shower room was small and claustrophobic. The noise...

Had sandwich & fries which were both cold. I think there are better choices in area for a couple more bucks. Real Seafood is great & have not tried Berger's close to BV lately. Real Seafood has good fish if that is your taste. Jets Pizza is probably best in area and delivers.

Stayed here last weekend on a bowling trip. The first night (a Friday), it was quiet and nice. This hotel does need updating - it is aging a bit. If you want a microwave or fridge, it is $5 extra a night for each. The king bed in my room was older, sat a bit low to the ground and...
