I was on a solo trip to southeast Michigan over a weekend in November 2023 to spend time with a couple friends. I wanted to stay in Brighton, so I decided to stay at this Hampton Inn for the Friday and Saturday night of my visit.
Overall, I was very impressed. This Hampton, in my opinion, exemplifies what Hampton Inns are supposed to be like. The young lady who checked me in on Friday night was very friendly and helpful. My room (#330) was clean and comfortable. I appreciated the amenities at the hotel... the business center computer, the indoor pool (including the hot tub), and breakfast. The hotel was very comfortable overall.
The only constructive criticism I can provide has to do with the housekeeping. On Friday night after I checked in, I asked about housekeeping during my stayover day. The clerk at the desk told me what was entailed. When I had my housekeeping service, I noticed that everything had been done except that the bed was not made. I followed the clerk's instructions and didn't leave anything on the bed but was surprised when I returned to my room that second night to see that the bed hadn't been made. Not a huge deal, but it was just different than I was told. (The clerk told me that she was fairly new, so maybe she was under the incorrect assumption that housekeeping includes making the bed when perhaps it does not.)
Despite this tiny little issue with the bed, I loved my stay and would gladly stay here again. Excellent hotel with great staff and a warm, welcoming presence.

I don't think believe I've ever given a review, but felt compelled to on Hampton Inn Brighton Michigan.
We were greeted pleasantly first and every time we returned to the property during our two night stay. Any employee we encountered obviously takes pride in themselves and Hampton Inn. Pleasant and professional.
We always slept very well on their Serta Mattress.
Being Hilton Honor Members, we thought the rates were great and received drinking water and snacks at our arrival.
The property is well cared for and extremely clean.
Excellent location off the high and to drive to downtown Brighton to one of the many restaurants or short distance to ski slope.

My husband received excellent extra service for his disability and the staff was very quick to provide help when we asked. The beds and pillows were some of the best we have ever slept on. Finding a bed that can give my husband good sleep is difficult, usually.

I booked here due to the pool. The website listed the fact that there was a pool on site in multiple places and pictures. When I arrived, I was told the pool has been out of order for A YEAR!! When I asked if I could cancel my reservation, I was told I would not get my money refunded.

We stayed in the room with the big bath tub and it trickled cold water for about 45 minutes without getting warmer before we decided to give up and ask for a new room. Called to the service desk to ask if there was anything they could do. They said they would check the water temperature and if they couldn’t get it fixed they would call us back and get us a new room. They never fixed the problem and never called us back.

I am Diamond member for Hilton and It was the worst experience of my life at Hampton in by Hilton at Brighton, MI. Room provided to me was dirty, carpet not vacuum ( snacks crumbs all over the room), hair on floor in restroom, tissue roll finished, not face tissue. I requested front desk to change the room, in the evening after returning from work when i asked front desk to change room, they asked me why. No communication between Day and night shift. Night shift representative changed my room which was again dirty. The whole corridor was dirty, snacks all over the carpet. He claimed that last room he provided is all clean but it was in same condition. I requested to vacuum the carpet but my request was never honored. I was promised that i will receive HH points for my inconvenience and that too never happened. Considering current situation of pandemic, i expect the rooms are cleaned thoroughly. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone.

What an amazing experience - this hotel hosted about 50+ wedding guest. They provided a clean and friendly atmosphere. We had a meeting room that hosted guest in between venues and an amazing staff who greeted everyone.

My only "knock" is that the WiFi would never stay connected and the package I booked was supposed to include hi speed WiFi as opposed to the standard WiFi. Well I was always having to try to reconnect to it, it would connect and then a few minutes later I was back on LTE or whatever. I have an iPhone XS Max so it's no the quality of phone. hotel and staff were great

We stayed here for the first time visiting our son and his family who just moved here.. A nice Hampton Inn!
A HUGE shout out to Sara in the kitchen! The hot breakfast was the best of all the Hampton Inns we've stayed in over the years. Oatmeal was outstanding! Sara was right on it keeping everything fresh. So refreshing to see.
The hotel looks like it was been recently renovated so the rooms were very nice.
We'll be staying here a lot in the future whenever we're in town visiting.

Stayed here for 2 nights on a family trip. Room was quite big and clean. Breakfast was typical American breakfast. Staff were professional and helpful. Only issue was that we requested for twin beds but only double beds were available at checkin. Also note that this hotel is at least 20-25 mins drive from Ann Arbor.

The room I had did have a blow dryer, quite a nice one. The breakfast was very good, but I don't recall the hours, probably the standard 6-10 a.m. They don't have a lounge/bar/restaurant but there are many very nice restaurants very close by. A very nice hotel in my opinion.
There are more places to choose from in the Brighton area.
