I genuinely do not know how this place has four stars on TripAdvisor. When we checked in, our room was clean, but not great. You could tell that there was dirt from other guest left around the room. Honestly, our room was in the best condition out of our group. Our parents checked into a room that had trash cans full of trash from previous guests, and a couple dozen bottles of leftover liquor and energy drink cans scattered around the room. Obviously not clean. We had another family member who checked into the room and found roaches as well as an unclean bed and living area. Overall, zero stars. When confronted with the issues of the rooms, the staff assigned everyone a new room, which also was dirty. After our family notified them that the second room they were assigned was dirty, the staff tried to blame our family members. Our family reminded the staff that we checked in five minutes ago to the new rooms and it was impossible for us to dirty the room to the extent that they found it. Quick summary: do not stay here under any circumstance.…
Our first time staying here and we loved it. One of the quietest hotels/motels we have ever stay at. Our suite was neat, clean, and spacious. The staff? Some of the nicest we have met. The lady who made breakfast can come cook at my house anytime. Rick was great at helping us when we used one of their two outdoor grills. Becky was one of the friendliest and greatest of hosts. They made us feel like royalty, catering to our every need. I don't know if we will be back to this area but if we do, this will be our first choice for a place to stay. It's not just a home away from home, it's like staying with family.
Stayed here a couple nights while traveling for business. My room was located on the backside of the property & there was no easy way to get to it except walking through the entire hotel which is not easy in heals. The hotel & room was clean. Nice having a full sized refrigerator in the room. A coffee pot was in the room, but no creamer so unless I wanted black coffee, I had to go to the breakfast area. They had good selections for breakfast. I love yogurt & fruit in the morning so having fresh berries was a huge plus. The hotel is located near a plaza & was convenient to shops & restaurants. It was also close to the expressway. Overall, it was a very good stay.
This is a wonderful hotel. The cleanliness of the rooms is nice. The helpfulness of the housekeepers is great, and the breakfast is very good. It's nice to wake up in the morning and go downstairs for a refreshing breakfast and a good cup of coffee. Newspapers are available daily. The pool is clean and the fitness room is nice.
after 2 days of using wet towels I was told there is no room service. You have to ask. I asked and no-one showed up as agreed.2 messages have been left with front desk to have Mgr Andrea Wheeler call me. No response. Have also sent Andrea Mitchell an e mail. Being completely ignored. What a rip off. Will contact CHM of Hilton.
Understaffed and unprepared for the amount of guests. Poor communication and on the verge of rude interactions. Allowed unsupervised children to run the halls, use the business center and monopolize the pool with some vaping poolside.
Though the property looks a little dated and in need of a refresh, the congenial front desk manager Rick more than makes up for that shortfall. I'm not saying that the rooms are in disarray or are falling apart, but the decor and the carpeting are so 1960s that there were times I felt like I was on the sets of 'That's 70's show' . It reminded me of my grandmother's house, warm and cozy. In the otherwise well-appointed room, the only complaint I have is that of the mattress. The box spring in it gave me a really bad backache the next morning.
Front desk staff was very good. The breakfast Stad not so much. Stayed a week. Ran out of Coffee and creamer several times during stay. Don’t understand how since staff sits in the room with their phones out! Room was fine. Clean but old. Food was ok but typical for Hilton.
We’ve been here before a few years ago and loved it. This weekend we could not say the same thing. The room was dirty. The kitchen floor was so sticky when we got there and had hair and a syrup consistency in the floor. Half of the closet door was missing. The toilet drained the entire time and the bowl of the toilet was covered in condensation. The walls were very dirty and the pull out bed was so uncomfortable. The pool area was filthy. They had to drain the hot tub when we got there so we were unable to use it. At breakfast they were out of a lot of food and extremely limited on what was available. The experience was disappointing and not up to Hilton standards.
The hotel fit my needs perfectly, the complementary breakfast was wonderful, Rick was a pleasure. I stayed for 10 weeks and requested towels changed every few days along with the sheets once a week, the maids decided I had enough towels and did not always change my sheets. They decided not to return my plastic laundry bin also. Overall I would definitely recommend this property.
