Jacob adds to the establishment by going above and beyond! When there was a clerical error with my stay, Jacob called me to make sure it was resolved once it got noticed! The rooms were clean and spacious and decorated like a relatives spare room. Very nice.
Tyler is a valued employee of wyndham Brighton I frequent your establishment often and everytime Tyler there he always goes over and beyond to make sure I’m comfortable and happy the manager kaleb is also very helpful god bless
We have gone here for several years as it’s the only Wyndham in the area. We have tried to upgrade several times and are always told they are full. It’s funny that I went and tried to book a new reservation for days we were staying and imagine that, I was able to book an upgraded room. We are Diamond members and that is a perk of being that level. Hotel needs some serious remodeling. They have been working on the closed pool for probably a year. I am thinking they may finally gotten new mattress as this time they were not bad. Bathroom needs remodel, needs to have basic maintenance to door, some trim. Big thing p, this last time was I was in room and husband went to get ice, I heard door open after he just left, and I thought he forgot something then door closed. I got up as I thought maybe he had hands full and when I opened door there was no one there except the guy going in the room next to me. I asked him if he just came in my room and he said no, that guy did, pointing to a guy walking down hall. Told hubby when he came back and he went to desk and told clerk. Clerk had given the guy our room so he got a key and then our keys were deactivated. All the clerk said was sorry. The next two days we had key problems and had to go to desk and clerk said , oh keys are deactivated everyday. Now why would you do that when we clearly had a reservation for 4 days. We spoke with manager next day and he was going to look into our complaints and get back to us. Guess what, have not heard anything and we’ve been checked out for over a week. The good is they are back to having a nice breakfast again and again the beds were not bad this time.…
Room spacious. King bed roomy. Pillows are nice. Room smelled of moldy, musty scent. A/C did not work great. TV is antenna only, do not get all channels. Fridge barely kept stuff cold. Good location, close to freeways, restaurants and shopping. Breakfast is ok, not good or great.
Everything was very clean, quiet, and comfortable. Close to restaurants and easy access from the highway. Room had everything needed and high quality towels, sheets, mattress at a very good price. The pool is not available right now if that is important to you, so call to confirm.
Handicap room not easily accessible. Bathroom had no hose shower head and chair did not fit in tub because of sink counter.. Paint chipped and pealing on ceiling, plastered repairs were very sloppy and unacceptable. Called twice to make sure we had a roll in shower and it was confirmed however when we checked in none was available anymore. Bad experience.
To say this hotel is riddled with black mold on ceilings, showers, and in your guest room is an understatement. Management (Liddy) could care less about your concerns. My husband and daughter have terrible allergies and they were coughing and hacking and sneezing. Staff had to check the next room to make sure it wasn't in the same condition. The carpeting must have had a drain under it because it was wet and smelly. At first, we thought it was from not drying off well enough from shower, but it happened again. In the hallway, repair men were fixing a large roundish black mold/water stain. They replaced the tile but the next day it had water stains again. Find another place that will welcome you - and receive towels you don't have to beg to use! Really.
Hello my name is Clayton Maxwell, I would like to talk to you about a major issue I had last week at your hotel. I arrived last week for a last minute booking for a girls night. We picked this hotel because they had a pool and hot tub listed and it’s hard to find a hot tub last minute. We get there and the pool and hot tub are under construction so we tried to cancel the reservation but they couldn’t refund the money. So we went back outside and after 20 minutes my friend and I decided to stay and went back in. It took 15 minutes for the person infront of us in line to get frustrated and go outside over his own booking issues. We checked in and they asked for my card again for a 20$ retainer and she said tomorrow the money would be put back. The front desk worker explained the best she could but there was a language barrier. But she said it would be given back. She charged me $82.41. Upon checking out I asked about the charge and spoke with a manager and she said it would be put back on my account within 48 hours but if there’s any issues to talk to my bank because she said I should use a credit card next time because the money gets instantly put back and sometimes with debit cards it gives issues. (I would have used a credit card if she explained it to me when I checked in) I talked with my bank twice and they said the hotel didn’t set it up as a retainer that would be put back it was put in as a direct charge. I called the hotel yesterday and got through to another manager and they said that they are fixing it and that the money will be on within 24 hours. Today I called the hotel AGAIN and I had to explain the situation another time and waited on hold. The male I spoke too was very nice and when he didn’t know how to handle it he said he would ask a coworker and put me on hold, I appreciated and respected his honesty. His coworker took me off hold and said a manager was driving in to check up on my complaint to get it resolved so they said they would call me back. I insisted I would rather stay on hold until the manager made it in to talk to me. They reverified my phone number and promised a call back soon. Now it’s midnight (6 hours later) and I never got a call back. A week ago they charged me $82.41 for no reason and I still have not gotten my money back after talking to two managers and potentially getting forgotten by a third. My favorite part of this experience was the multiple times I was on hold was that it was playing a rolling ad for their pool and hot tub (the only reason I booked the room in the beginning and was under construction). Normally not a Karen but I work hard for my money and this is unacceptable. Also on your Facebook page it talks about how the pool and hot tub was closed and that all websites were notified to put it was temporarily closed. But your own website still has it listed as an amenity. I will be calling back tomorrow and if it’s not resolved I will be coming in to talk to a manager.…
It was an ok stay, the beds are lower to the ground and not very comfortable, the computer system was down when checking in so it took a long time. also I reserved the room on one card but wanted to pay with another, over the phone they said that would be no problem but it was. the wrong card got charged. one thing that would be nice when making reservation to let people know the pool is not working. when checking out there was no attendant at all and no way of getting someone's attention with a bell or something. one the 2nd floor the ice machine is broken and no sign letting guest know its broken.
issues of nausea, shortness of breath, light headedness, and a burning sensation in the eyes troubling from the heating and cooling from all 4 of us, had to change rooms at 3 am, ignored by staff, no one available to help at 3 am, not enough towels for 4 people, no pool or hot tub and was not emailed about the drained pool and hot tub before visit (the only reason we came here), bathroom terribly dirty.
