We stayed here for a couple nights. Everything was ok; however, they were like so many other hotels right now, very short staffed. I was a bit disappointed that the elevator floor and also the lobby floor was not kept vacuumed and swept. I think the carpet in the hallways could definitely be cleaned and it would bump the star rating up significantly. Our room was clean. There was no room service; therefore our dirty towels stayed in the bathroom. The staff was friendly and helpful. I do think that ensuring that what you have is impeccably clean trumps super nice is key. They have fantastic coffee.

Our room smelled strongly of smoke and just general dirt/grime. The shower looked like it hadn’t been cleaned and had hair all over it. The shower was also very moldy and smelled of mold. Ominous stains on the sheets and floor. For a cheap hotel it would have been understandable but it was $200+ a night for the weekend we booked during a horse show. Will not be back.

We loved this place. We came for a weekend in January so it was quiet but nice. Veronica went above and beyond to make our stay great. She was amazing and so thoughtful and very kind with helping me make my reservations. We had a nice room with a hot tub. The town is cute and we even got to ride our mountain bikes a little. We would come back just because of the great treatment we got from Veronica.

Our family of 17 traveled to Chelsea, Michigan to attend a wedding. We rented 6 rooms. The reason we all chose to make reservations at this Comfort Inn was because we had five children in our party who were thrilled to play together in the indoor pool. The pool and hot tub are advertised on their website - there is no information on their website that states the pool and hot tub are currently closed due to Co-vid. While I understand the hotel’s reason to keep the pool and hot tub closed during this time, this is false advertising. We were all extremely disappointed to learn upon arrival that we could not utilize the pool and hot tub. There’s not really any kid-friendly things to do in the area, so we were counting on the pool to entertain our children. I complained at check in, but my complaint went in one ear and out the other of the front desk clerk checking us in. Since my complaint was not taken seriously, here I am writing my first negative review on Trip Advisor. Please do your guests a favor and use truthful advertising regarding your establishment. Sincerely, A Discouraged Momma

Having enjoyed staying at this establishment on a regular basis for business over the past several years, I have truly appreciated the comfortable, clean rooms as well as the extremely courteous and accommodating staff. Historically, my stays would have earned nothing short of a five-star review. Sadly, this came crashing down on my last stay. Following a long day in sales returning to my room rather late, I simply made a phone call home to inform my companion that I was safely in my motel room. The total duration of the call on my phone log was 2 minutes and 19 seconds. Although the television was on, the volume was on its lowest setting as I was not really watching anything. About an hour later as I was somewhat drifting off to sleep, I heard a knock on the door and was told by the night manager that they had a multitude of complaints regarding loud conversations and noises from my room. I explained that I was alone in the room and hadn’t been on the phone for some time and when I was, it was for a very brief period. When I offered to show my phone log they refused to even look at it. The accusations left me compelled to leave the room late at night and drive over three hours back home only to have to return to my account early the next morning. Staying in motels for business for well over 30 years I have Never been accused of any form of disturbance in my entire life. I am far from A Loud Party Animal!!! I am very sad to see my relationship with this establishment end in this manner.
