We had very good service, we did not stay for the breakfast but the room was clean and comfortable. The staff were very effecient and friendly. There were no issues during our stay. What else is there to say to get your 200.
Promotional and confirmation-states "Free Hot Breakfast". There was no such thing. Staff stated that there hadn't been for some time-so I guess they thought it was okay to claim something they didn't have. I have to assume that this is a Baymont policy to create misleading advertising of their property-so I will not in the future trust what they say in their promotional material.
Layth Saco, manager at the Chelsea, MI Baymont is the most arrogant hotel employee we have ever had the misfortune to encounter. My husband and I, along with our two teenagers, arrived to find we were placed in a room with one bed and a sofa bed the size of a twin bed. Also, only three towels and washcloths. I went to the front desk to say we were placed in the wrong room and Layth claimed it was the one I booked. I told him I didn't book online, I called the front desk, and told the woman I spoke with I needed a room for four. (The website wouldn't take my reservation). He claimed the room was for only three people and I accepted that. First of all, let me point out the obvious--I had spoken to a woman, he was not part of that conversation, and this was the first time I spoke about to him, so he had no idea how my conversation with her went. Most importantly, I would never expect my teenagers to share such a small bed. That's ludicrous. Layth said, "I can place you in another hotel." It was race weekend and I knew everything was booked. He then told me to call Comfort Inn and he was "waiving my room." ??? He started doing something on the computer. I said "what does waiving mean? He said he was refunding my room and I could find accommodations elsewhere. He handed me a paper saying I had checked out. I didn't ask for a refund or say anything about leaving. I told him I just drove for hours and there were no available rooms anywhere else. What was I supposed to do far from home with two kids? He said "not my problem " and dismissed me. My husband and I were astounded. Baymont should be embarrassed and ashamed to have such a rude, arrogant person representing them. He made zero attempts to fix the problem. He has alienated us from all Wyndham properties. And by the way, we stayed at a really scurvy Wyndham property six years ago and said never again, but this was the only place anywhere near MIS that still had rooms. I guess it was everyone else's last resort, too.…
Great quite location. Clean and comfortable rooms. The staff was extremely, helpful and friendly!! I would enjoy visiting again!!! I arrived early and the desk clerk checked me in anyways, and helped me decide on a nice place for dinner!!
Made an online reservation paid in advance and non-cancelable. Was our grandson's wedding so we knew we would not cancel. reserved a double handicapped room, my husband is on a scooter and needs walk-in tub. We got there, have hearing impaired room and regular tub. Had to take the room, too late to find another hotel. Disappointing. Also, have to call, $20 charge on my bank card after check out. We were hardly there and they certainly didn't have anything in stock we would have used. Can't wait to find out what the charge is.
