How many times do you say "Wow!" as you are pulling away from a B&B? The room we stayed in (Rose) was just right. I had flashbacks to grandmas house and all in a good way. Very clean and made up perfectly. The food was so good and plentiful. All homemade! What? Yes. How about a cookie jar stuffed with...

A warm welcome from the time you walk in the door. Breakfast is everything you could wish for, homemade pastries, omelets made to order. There is an excellent selection of coffee, tea and snacks that you can help yourself to any time of day. The back garden comfortable for sitting with a book. I was here for a running race...

Our 1st time at a B & B and wasn't sure about it. Joan and Buck make you feel right at home. And if you forgot to bring something Joan probley has it for you. Had the Rose room with the jacuzzi tub (ahhh). Nice room but it is at the front of the house so traffic can be bothersome...

My wife and I recently stayed at the Millpond Inn in Clarkston. The B&B is an older house but it is very cozy. Owners Joan and Buck are very welcoming, very social and make you fell at home. The breakfasts were five plus stars!! Well prepared, delicious and plentiful. There are fresh baked cookies, snacks and drinks available during the...

I wanted to avoid hotel chains while at a conference, so I selected this relatively nearby bed and breakfast. Owner Joan and her husband Buck were fine hosts, generous with kitchen privileges, snacks, and conversation. As with many B&B’s, this is an older (late 1800’s) big house converted to a bed and breakfast, but without the feel of major renovation...

My sis and were in town for a concert and stayed overnight. The only downside to this trip is that we only booked one night. Joan answered the door and gave us a tour; she invited us to help ourselves to anything in the impressively stocked kitchen/fridge (which included many types of homemade cookies). The courtyard behind the house is...

Joan and Buck are great! Best breakfast in the world! All homemade; breads, cinnamon toast, fresh fruit yogurt, fruit smoothies, eggs to order or omelets. Exceptionally clean, ensuite bathrooms and great bedding.

This was my second stay at the Millpond Inn. I will be back again when I next visit family. The rooms are clean, the inn keepers are super accommodating: a quick tour upon arrival, invitation to use refrigerator, ice, books, etc., unlimited soft drinks and bottled water, freshly baked cookies always out, coffee and tea whenever you want, an invitation to...

My family stayed at this B&B several times while visiting my Dad that lived in Clarkston. This B&B does feel like home. Joan and Buck always welcomed us with open arms. All the rooms are lovely, super clean and comfortable. The breakfasts are not to missed. There is an amazing array of homemade hot items as well as cold. But...
