The Millpond Inn is by far the best bed and breakfast we have ever stayed at. Joan and Buck welcome you into their home and make you feel so comfortable. Their attention to detail is phenomenal. The homecooked breakfast was great! When we needed to leave earlier than breakfast could be served, Joan packed us a homemade breakfast to go!!...

We were welcomed as though we were old friends! Room was spacious, clean, and comfy, and breakfast was outstanding! The only item NOT homemade was the sausage links! Even the 7-grain bread and yogurt flavored with real fruit were homemade! I had a 3-egg ham n cheese omelette, and hubby's was a 2-egg ham, cheese, and spinach omelette. We also...

My husband and I stayed at the Millpond B&B twice. Once for my birthday (we rented all 5 rooms for our friends and they were all very happy to learn every bedroom has a private bathroom), and once last night because our power went out due to an ice storm. It was such a relief to be welcomed to this...

We stumbled upon this little gem last night. On a whim we drove to Clarkston (from Dearborn) for dinner and decided to stay. I've not stayed in a B&B in quite a long time. Joan was so warm and welcoming. She knew this was an unplanned trip and offered us whatever we needed. The house/rooms are spotless and cozy. The...

This was our first visit to the Millpond Inn and Joan and Buck made us feel like part of the family from the first minute we got there! We immediately felt at home. Couldn't think of one thing I would change about this place, it's perfect. From the close proximity to DTE and downtown Clarkston to the amazing breakfast. Not...

Perfect place to stay for a DTE Concert. Have dinner a block away in Clarkston then 3 miles to the back entrance of the DTE like VIP. A simple place to catch some sleep before the drive home in the AM. Breakfast is 4 star home cooking, don't pass on the homemade yogurt! Joan and Buck are great hosts!

The owners are extremely welcoming. From my first experience talking on the phone to book the room, to the way she makes you feel you are the only guest there is just amazing. The biggest highlight was the breakfast. We have stayed in B&Bs across the US and Canada and this has to be in the top three. We were...

Absolutely wonderful people with an even BETTER place. Beautiful setting, nice rooms, gourmet breakfast and is located just outside the center of Clarkstons downtown and easily within walking distance. Joan and Buck do a first class job and treat you like they have known you forever. Very reasonable priced and they can help you with all of your questions or...
